I have been hearing and reading “the end times are upon us” for all of my seventy-plus years. The comment I replied to said we were wasting brain power on opinion. If I could select the time of His coming it would be this moment. I would not be surprised to find humanity in existence, ten millenia from now. Relax. When it happens, it happens. I expect my life to end sooner.
One more thing. I suspect your view of our Creator is a bit slight. I think I cannot even comprehend. I don’t think anyone else can, either.

Well Biblically the "end Times" are the times between the first coming of Christ and the return of Christ, the second coming, the church age.
Well actually My point was that it (God an man) can't be comprehended, free will vs an infinite God, the nature of God fully. What we can know has been given in Scripture, as I referenced.

That’s more than one question, and I can’t definitively answer. We know scholars selected from various sources the tracts that seemed important that now comprise the Bible. It has been translated more than once and each time, meanings appear to change. I think the existence of God is not fully comprehensible because our ability to comprehend is limited. I think the scriptures have been cherry-picked. I know you will have an issue with that. I didn’t come here for this discussion, I came here for another, and you thumped the heck out of that. I objected. I’m still objecting.

I’ve been howled-at several times too many. Today’s religious right have devastated genuine faith, have driven youth away, and small wonder.
