Do read up on the history of Ukraine. They have not even been a country as they are now, for even 35 yrs. They were always connected to Moscow for the past several hundred yrs.... unless I missed something in the history books. If the people living in that area want to be part of Russia, so be it.

but I do not trust Z at all.... and expecting him to honor anything is bordering on silliness. He isn't even the real president and that alone may be used to get out of a deal once we have all our mining stuff there. Then what? Another Afghanistan withdrawal?

Excellent sadie...fully agree. Russians and Ukranians of old are essentially the same thing. Tell a Ukrainian that now and they will cut your head off. The power of Brainwashing on full display.

It’s extraordinarily interesting to see all this brinksmanship unfold.

Yes, it is so easy for these idiotic European leaders to root for continued war—but it’s the 18-22 year old young men and women who will pay the ultimate sacrifice on the altar of these European leaders’ hubris.

“Conscripts” have a face and a name—their futures are in peril. Not my son, daughter, or grandkids. Good luck filling the ranks. Young people will see this war for what it is and run for the hills.

Zelenskyy is not someone that can be trusted. And Putin is no better.

Thankfully, God is in control!

“He changes times and seasons; he removes kings and sets up kings.” Daniel 2:21

It is God that has the power to appoint and remove kings (read the nations’ leaders).

Yep even King Trump can't clean up this mess. Best to just stay out of it. It really isn't the United States problem.

The thing that we need to remember is that Putin understands the real harm that will come from launching a nuclear war. He’s very realistic about it. Trump can, at least, work with that and it’s the starting point for a conversation.

Zelensky on the other hand seems so caught up in his bloodlust and hatred of Russia that he can’t see straight.

I learned yesterday that Z behaves this way b/c there are death threats on his life from other Ukrainians if he doesn’t keep the war going. Z initially ran as a peace candidate to end hostilities with Russia, but he can’t govern that way if he wants to stay alive.

Leadership in Europe and those in the US who believe in the ‘rules based’ order don’t seem to care about nuclear war b/c they seem to believe that their money and underground bunkers will protect them. They seem to think that ‘it’s just talk, but won’t really happen’. Yet, they don’t seem to get that a lot of things are just talk until they do happen.

There is no thought about the rest of us.

We are just expendable, in one way or another.

That’s the sobering bit for me.

Like you seeing all Leftists in the USA and Europe become obsessed with defeating Russia is unnerving. Why is this so? I think that Russia's greatest sin is that they have thrown off the yoke of Communism.

Around 1996 NATO promised Russia that there would be no NATO countries on the border

of Russia…..for obvious safety reasons. Ukraine is on the border with Russia. If Ukraine, started

to bomb Russia, there would not be enough time for Russia to respond, because of their

proximity to Russia! So Russia entered this arrangement with NATO to protect border access.

Russia made a smart request and NATO agreed, until a few years later. But Russia is

bearing the blame of this Ukraine war, when actually NATO did not keep their original agreement

with Russia.

Five years off, and still false.

During German reunification negotiations, US Secretary of State Baker allegedly said NATO troops would move "not one inch eastward" in reference to NATO troops in East Germany.

Not reflected in official transcripts.

No treaty or written agreement included any terms about NATO membership.

The hatred for Russians has been brainwashed into the Ukraine Generation that came up during 2014 when this all started. It is a rabid hate same as how Country's like Isreal and others bring up their newest army minions. We know Minsk Agreement and the lies for peace after were all planned by NATA in secret. Always in Secret these gubmints work the reality of their plans. Running off at the mouth in public is never to be believed. The Russian people are not what is drilled into the western fluoridated brains of its citizens. Business is never pursued as a way to bring us together. Always take by force. I swear politicians are not human.

If you were called to do the right thing, to fight evil, would you willingly go and do it?

Before you answer, read God’s Word and see how the brave and righteous fared in comparison to the weak and complicit.

Russia is Satan. Even FoxNews is losing its shit over how badly King Donald has let this become. Had America been righteous, we would’ve sent the amount of help needed to END Russia’s murderous invasion. Instead we just continually trickled the help in small enough increments to perpetuate mediocre defense.

Great topic and write, Michael

It would almost seem the Euro contingent wasn't paying attention when Putin was doing his nuclear tutorials for the West:

"This is a thermonuclear device, these videos are graphic representations of their capacity for unprecedented death and destruction." "The hypersonic missiles can be at the EU's doorstep in under six minutes."

Either that, or they have been paying attention to US politicians and have enacted a bill similar to our CoG (Continuity of Government) that shields gubmint from harm even at the expense of their "constituents". Thanks for that, Big Bush, hidden away in the comically named "patriot act".

So, what is our response if this silly saber-rattling leads to some degree of destruction in Europe? Can we sit by and let the EU woketards stew in their own globalist juices?

I believe I can.

Onward, Christian soldiers!
