In some ways these NDEs are the most fantastic and wonderful affirmation of God the Father, and Jesus Christ, the Son and Savior.

I recently binge watched videos about this, and the stories of those going to Hell were absolutely hellish and horrific. And the others were people met Christ all seemed to talk about an overwhelming sense of love and peace.

God is real. Satan is real. And so are their respective kingdoms. I hope more people find their way to salvation through Jesus Christ, our Lord and King!

More stuff like this please, Michael.

I won't go into detail, but I KNOW that OurLord JesusChrist is real.

I would love to know what I am doing here, but it is not our job to figure that out or to question OurLord.

All I have to say is that I try every day to do something which pleases OurLord and many times that is difficult. I hope that all readiing this will believe in OurLord JesusChrist and try as I do to please Him.

Proof is simple,

Preach the Gospel. Everyone of these people who said they rose from the dead will die again. Jesus rose from the dead and was seen ascending into heave and will return, and that His Spirit changes people's lives what more proof do you need. Jesus unlike men will not die again. Read the parable of Lazarus and the rich man. The rich man in hell begged Abraham to have Lazarus raise from the dead to warn hi brothers, but Abraham said ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’”

Scripture tells me people reportedly raising from the dead will not change peoples minds. Only the Word of God and the Holy Spirit can do that.

I have no need for such confirmation, and I don't find these stories convincing at all.

To me, they share a distinct Wizard of Oz vibe, and I don't believe God changes His mind.

Yes, these people are often no better than scammer Mike Warnke of The Satan Seller book fame. I read that when I was young and I’m embarrassed to admit I believed everything he wrote. Decades later I’d learned he was found to be every bit the fame-seeking charlatan as others who tell tales of supernatural contact.

Jesus should not be mocked by the fake attention-seekers who tell these stories.

What about Hindus whose near death experiences include seeing Krishna or being hugged by Lakshmi? Or Buddhists who converse with Buddha? Or Hindus and Buddhists who meet their earlier (re)incarnations?

What about the Swede who was clinically (but not officially) dead for a short time and reported that he was greeted in paradise by the beautiful girl he met in school whom he never had the nerve to talk to in life? His family never even brought religions up to their kids, so he dreamed his own perfect joy.

Neuroscientists who study this phenomenon find that the brain definitely reaches an altered state, but what people believe they experience really matters on what they were raised to believe.

Not just the blind! The deaf from birth can listen for the first time, too.

This is what I usually share with atheists or agnostics:

Atheists and agnostics would start to find answers in peer-reviewed Near Death Experiences. Consciousness, intelligence, will, are all spiritual properties of the spiritual immortal soul. How do we know that? some of the blind from birth see in colors for the first time when they are brain dead (no electricity, no activity, no bloodflow, no oxygen) and also no heartbeat and no breathing. The same happens with some of the deaf: they listen for the first time to conversations around or if they go up, even celestial music!

“there are characteristic features that are commonly observed in NDEs. These characteristics include a perception of seeing and hearing apart from the physical body, passing into or through a tunnel, encountering a mystical light, intense and generally positive emotions, a review of part or all of their prior life experiences, encountering deceased loved ones, and a choice to return to their earthly life.”

"God is love" says the Bible, the Word of God (1 John 4:7-12) Do you believe in love? then you believe in God. How do you prove love to yourself? If you prove love, you prove God! There’s no love without God, the source of all true love. He’s not only the love of my life, He’s the life of my love!

Jesus said “I’m... the life.” (John 14:16)

“God gives life to everything.” (1 Timothy 6, 13)

Do you believe in life? You prove life, you prove God, eternal life, source of all life:

That is where you should start your journey of discovery, but first pray: "God, life of my love, if you exist, please show me the way to find the bliss of knowing You"

or even better:

Think this with your heart: “Jesus, if you are the Son of God, I consecrate my heart to your Heart. Please send me the Holy Spirit so I can see Truth and have the courage to convert and follow Him wherever He leads”

If you want to find the true Church, among 40 thousand denominations, start reading the writings of the first Christians, before the Roman Empire, like Augustine of Hippo (start with Confessions):

Irenaeus of Lyon, etc.:

You'll discover which Church is the most faithful to the Bible and early Christianity before the Roman Empire. Hint: which religion you would belong to, if you were born 600 years ago, continuing uninterruptedly the teachings held by the early Christians?
