I live in San Diego ( north county ) last week when the local news was showing the damage to homes one of the men who’s house was flooded with mud said the very exact same thing happened ten years ago . He said because next to these properties is a river , gully , raveen .. ten years ago it did the same thing when we had heavy rains . Soooo , if the city knew this , why haven’t they addressed the problem of water flow? Ohh that’s right .. it’s the city .. duh ..

Additionally , the homes that were damaged were older , like some of the tract homes built possibly in the 50/60’s. My guess is the insurance companies will give these folks grief on top of grief . Maybe this area is slated for a 15 minute city . Hmmm

Although I do not live in San Diego proper we survived it and it wasn’t as bad as the national news said .

Today is been rainy also , several flood warnings on the phones .. but again , like hurricane Hilary .. no big deal . Just rain .

I rent out a couple of small homes in California and when Hurricane Hilary was supposed to *destroy* the West Coast (according to this author and others like him), I reached out to my tenants and told them I was going to have my handyman come out and do everything he could to prep for the hurricane.

Then when it came and left with just a medium smattering of rain, I remembered how bent out of shape people act when perfect California is supposed to be hit with imperfect weather. They act like it's a beauty queen with a pimple on pageant night and go absolutely nuts running around like Kermit the From waving his arms in the air. I hope the upcoming week of rain doesn't amount to the destruction the other 49 states are hoping it does.

Southern Ontario here: our usual Canadian winter has been nonexistent. Which could just be an anomaly (which I do not believe is) but more disturbing is the sheer amount of atmospheric moisture. We've been at almost 100% humidity since October. My firewood is covered in its own shed, but the air is so damp that my wood has taken on the moisture as we have struggled all winter with shit fires because of it. Our livestock and gardens also suffer. The pestilence last year was off the chart.

Honga Tonga isn't even in the conversation about what's going on, the amount of water vapour that went up and is making its rounds the planet. Couple that with all the other impacts, were in for a ride and just getting started.

I believe these events occurring with increasing frequency and intensity are God's call to folks in those areas to "wake up, look up and repent"... Really. Scripture is replete with examples sooo we don't miss it. I point the finger at some pulpits... at pastors who refuse to see the signs, make connections and warn the people...😔

I rent out a couple of small homes in California and I've asked my tenants if they think they're going to need me to have anyone come by to fortify the roof or trees and such. The native Californians are acting like it's Armageddon, but the Vermonter and the Kentuckian just laugh on the phone with me about how people in California overreact to anything that's less than perfect weather.

I'm in Colorado until 2025 because I'm a glutton for punishment. It's c-o-l-d at night but the days are as warm as California recently. Weather changes all the time, wherever we are.

Extreme weather is everywhere. Here in Mo less than 10 days ago we had several days of below -5 and to day the first of Feb it was 65 degrees and sunny. This is not normal at all

It's been crazy here in Wisconsin as well. It started with a blizzard on Halloween. Then on Tuesday, the 9th of January we experienced our first snow of the New Year. We had a wet, heavy snow for nearly 5 days straight. I could barely clear my driveway before more came. Then it got really bad on Friday with several inches of snow covering every branch. The huge trees in my yard just fell over from the weight. Then the electricity went out and I had no heat, water or light. Shortly after the snow finally stopped on Sunday morning, a cold front rolled in, leaving us in sub zero temperatures for over a week..

Now all that snow is nearly melted, and today it was in the high 40's.

It really makes me wonder if it's God or mankind doing this.

Eastern Wash., the red part of the state is missing the snow, but we are getting warm early. Oh, if you like apples, the gov. is making it harder for the farmers to grow them.

Grow your own. I plant apple and orange trees every home I buy. If you live in an apartment, look into container growing. F the gov and their apple-withholding BS.

"good luck with all that" you say regarding Zuckerberg's ambitious project. Brought a smile to my face and reminded me of scripture when mankind will be begging the rocks to fall on them and to be able to die; only they can't. The arrogance to think oneself, regardless of the excessive expenses incurred, above what God decreed thousands of years ago remains astonishing to say the least.

2 very liberal, God-hating states! Florida itself is not Godly, and hurricanes are becoming stronger and more dangerous! So I am in some danger too.

what are you talking about? All the Govts of this nation are corrupt politically and money driven. If you understand the Gospel, all men (outside of God's perfection given to the Saints) have fallen short of the glory of God. Just as the World of Noah was Judged by water, this age will be judged by what we coming now.
