First we had the War on Drugs. That catastrophe left us with countless addicts stumbling around every city and of course the fentenyl crisis.

Then we had the War on Poverty which brought us to where we are today with people living in tents in the middle of a north American winter and those lucky enough to have some kind of home lining up at food banks.

Please let us not have a War on Homelessness or we will all be in the streets.

America is facing spectacular defeats in these and just about every other War because the government is acting like a child who knows better than his parents.

We the people are going to have to retake control and start making some common sense decisions

As a prime example forcing a tent camp to pack up and move to somebody else's back yard solves nothing. We have allowed decision makers to treat symptoms of symptoms. The root problem has been ignored long enough that it's practically buried.

How about taxpayers councils who tell the government what to do and how we want it done?

My rent is more than 50% of my monthly pension, so I can’t save any money. I need to move, but any other options are sky-high, higher than what I (barely) pay now. And, by the way, many States are addressing the homeless issue by letting homeowners build ADU’s, ruining neighborhoods, and of course, charging the highest amount of rent that they can get away with. How does that help the homeless?

As long as there is government, new crises after new crises will be invented and no solution will be found. Not everyone can make enough money to buy a home or rent an apartment. In the olden days, you had several families sharing one abode.

Some homeless have smart phones and seem connected. We have drugs on the streets because many in the population demand drugs and thus that market demand is filled. They must have money because those drugs don't come for free.

Great news!! Neither the Biden nor ANY media is making that claim! And they never did! In fact they’ve all been pointing out that despite the healthy economy (whether you like that fact or not), the billionaire richie-riches are the reason why the poor will a-l-w-a-y-s be getting poorer as long as the Donald Trumps and the Elon Musks and the Peter Thiels are getting richer.

Face the facts: when you vote for callous billionaires who are 100% ignorant of how the lower 99.9999% of us live, you’ve voted for more of the same. Mr Trump even said he highly favors the whole hiring foreigners over training Americans in his OWN businesses, so when he said importing more foreigners for the well-paying jobs is a goal of his you better take him at his word. President Musk purchased Mr Trump’s decision rights and the proof is all over Truth Social and Xitter.

For a bunch of people who hate transsexuals so much, I bet you’re all in agreement with Laura Loomer right now!

Trump is no saint and will be another clusterf*ck. Biden has been absent without leave for 4 years and the economy has tanked under his watch. It's obvious, and should be even to conditioned apologists and propagandists such as yourself.

The only real thing America is good at is starting wars and supporting genocide - FJB was 100% full on in support of that.... Go cheer at your reflection in the mirror!

I make no apologies and support no propaganda. I didn’t support/vote Biden and it’s a darned shame that calling Mr Trump out on his many shortcomings makes people think you lovvvve Biden/abortion/marxism, etc.

Now would seem to be a good time to impose import tariffs, encourage companies to return to America and the domestic employment picture will improve dramatically. At the same time we should evict the illegal migrants and free up some of that affordable housing. Finally, it's time to get the over regulation out of business while trimming the civil service and, wow, America might we'll become great again. After the good stuff is online we should prosecute the treasonous bastards that worked so hard to destroy America.

There is little doubt that the O'Biden regime, the Deep State and their bosses from the WEF and similar clubs of the obscenely rich are responsible for the present economic mess in the US and abroad. These evil human-haters bear the responsibility for a major percentage of homeless. It is part of their game plan to take over the planet and all riches. But, there is no way that a big portion of the homeless are not responsible for their own demise. When you constantly spend more than your income putting yourself into unmanageable debt, you bear the responsibility of your condition. Those that spend on things they want rather than things they need(shelter, food, transportstion) bear the blame. Those that indulge in drugs, liquor, betting and other addictions and bad habits rather than their families should not expect relief or sympathy from the majority that live responsibly. Then you have the people that do not want to work or live in decent housing. Generally, you reap what you sow. If you live a good responsible life, save when you can and acknowledge that there are always bad times, you will survive with a roof over your heads and food on your tables.

Sheesh. And to think city people have been known to call the mountains I live in and the people that live here "a third-world backwater." Look who's talking folks. We did it to ourselves.

The Homeless crisis is heartbreaking. It makes me so thankful for what the Lord has provided to my wife and I, and our kids and grandkids!

That said, the Biden/Harris administration should be proud of itself for these records. Record drug use. Record homeless. Record debt. A looming bank crisis. Record illegal immigration. A gutted and ruined military. Fuel storage empty. Billions of dollars of weapons given to the Taliban (Afghanistan pullout). A looming food crisis. I don’t think you can say all of this is an accident, and it surely isn’t an accomplishment, unless you’re a member of the WEF. Treason anyone?

More solution-free articles on homelessness.

What will President Musk and Vice President Ramaswamy do about them after they cut Social Security and food assistance for everyone and the already-homeless have to live among the new millions of homeless coming their way?

The rich get richer and the poor get poorer.

The debt spiral is now out of control and the great reset is not far off.

Throwing money at it (Trump wants to get rid of the debt limit) will not work.

Tariffs will just start a trade war.

And lowering interest rates back to almost zero will just buy a little time.

The only solution is a sovereign default. That is already in the plans, the IMF and the FED are waiting for the best moment to pull the trigger and blame someone or some event for the default.

Michael, thanks for keeping this topic in front of us, you are a true champion. I’d love to know your thoughts or findings on all of the luxury apartment complexes that are being built, on nearly every square inch of remaining suburban property. I’ve heard there are such great tax incentives for building these, the owners can make a profit without filling them, even by half. Lots of people are concerned about them being used to house illegals—which hasn’t happened yet, as far as we know. The weird part is, the county officials keep approving them to be built, even as the locals turn out en masse to object. Something is going on. We’re seeing a few token “affordable” housing areas being built by the county with Covid funds, partnered with habitat for humanity. Funny thing is, the “affordable” housing subdivisions are being built nextdoor to high end home subdivisions. If the high end people object, they’re gaslit by the county officials and low information fellow citizens, accusing them of hating the poor. The real story is, the “affordable” subdivisions will not have access to public transportation, grocery stores, etc. because they are built amongst high end housing areas. They will be too far away from necessities to walk and definitely not near a bus stop. Not near employment either. It’s obvious someone in the government is using those less fortunate to achieve some type of goal and move money around. Then they keep the higher end crowd silenced by accusing them of not wanting poor people to move into their area.
