I read these articles with a sense of despair. How can children learn when the very society that is suppose to support them is collapsing all around them. The issues are countless and not soon, if ever, to be resolved.

Do not despair Stephen, God is in control. Jesus said that all this evil stuff must take place first, "these things are regrettable, but they must take place." This calls for the perseverance of the saints in the midst of persecution and we are to patiently wait for our real hope, and that is in the resurrection our glorification and full sanctification, it is worth the wait.

This is another integral part of the left's plan to turn us all into slaves. By infiltrating the schools and dumbing down education, they are creating a generation who can' barely read. So where do these people get their information? Well, Tik Tok, of course. You know, that Chinese owned propaganda wing of the CCP? This is exactly why more and more people are sending their children to private schools or home schooling them. Here in Wisconsin, the public school system is closing a number of facilities due to rapidly falling enrollment. The liberal teachers never took parents into account. A lot of people will not stand idly by while their children are indoctrinated and poorly educated. The joke's on the liberals.

These poor young adults are going to have to toughen up in a hurry here pretty darn soon.

The economy is swirling the bowl. Enjoy your Christmas because next year promises to be a doozy. I'm expecting bank failures, a stock market crash, the destruction of the dollar and the impending destruction of our economy. Add to that, food shortages, a number of natural disasters and a controversial presidential election, and it will indeed be total chaos.

Merry Christmas.

Precisely. 2024 will be total chaos. Especially for those whose names are not written in the Lamb's Book of Life and have no faith in Jesus Christ and the soon-coming Kingdom of Heaven.

Please do not consider me presumptuous as I recommend the following link:

This content was created in 2017 and it is actually Dana Ashlie's gift to her fellow soldiers within the Body of Jesus Christ. Those sheep who hear their Master's voice and know "time is short". It is very mature and graphic and adult supervision is necessary. It is also necessary to have a general understanding of "revelation eschatology".

Thanks for the recommendation, but I had to quit watching it 15 minutes in. I guess we'll have to agree to disagree once again.

We're assured all is "for the children, our future". It is and always will be about the money. Look at the NFL... a field full of brain surgeons and astrophysicists. All with college degrees and millionaires due to that fact. Edumication is cool.

I tend to think a lot of this is classroom size and the fact that there is a more diverse student body. A lot of students aren’t just immigrants from Spanish speaking countries, but from all over the world and English isn’t their first language. Add into that, a lot of students have IEP’s and 504’s for learning accommodations.

I’m not saying this is inherently bad,but that it presents challenges to the best of teachers. If there isn’t a working knowledge of basic English, then kids are going to lost in the classroom.

Teachers do what they can, but are sometimes wildly optimistic in what they can get their students to achieve. I’ve seen it firsthand. It’s not like they are slackers, but they often don’t have the time to give individual Students who need more help.

These days, teachers expect parents to work with kids at home more than they did when I was in school. My kid regularly came home with homework packets in kindergarten and elementary school. I don’t remember having any type of homework as a kid until middle school. If parents aren’t able to work with the kids, then that’s going to affect how much they gain from school as well.

In my local district, there can be up to 30-40 kids in a class and the individual middle and high schools have thousands of kids in them. It’s easy for kids to get lost in those systems.

My kid is now in a private school and all of his classes have less than 10 kids in them. He’s doing much better, but a lot of families simply don’t have that option.

Also, in my school district, schools are also trying to fill the community role that got vacated when people decided they didn’t want to be in church anymore. A lot more ‘stuff’ happens at the school now. If we hadn’t been involved in our church, the school would have been the next logical place to find community.

For those reading a Chapter a Day of Luke for Advent, day 11 Jesus explains the root cause of most of America’s problems today. The Lawyer monopoly on our Federal, State and local Goober$Mints with their picket fences cherry picking jumping back and forth moral relativity.

Take real social justice for example. To a) both seek the highest common goods AND b) preserve the integrity of the Individual. Depending on the $$$ and power argue$Mint of the moment, Lawyers will choose only a) Marxism, or b) Libertarianism. And ignore the harmonic iteration balance of the two c) Common Sense Anericanism One Nation Under God.

Lawyers own 100% of Judicial and Executive branches. And 85% of the Legislative branch. Creating laws they then exempt themselves and their cronies from, to retain power and make $$$ from money laundering.

Luke 11:46

46  And he said, “Woe also to you lawyers! For you load people with burdens hard to bear, and you yourselves do not lift a finger to ease them.

52  Woe to you lawyers! For you have taken away the key of knowledge; you did not enter yourselves, and you hindered those who were entering.”

Even Better Call Saul Paul argued with 1st Pope Peter about the “Law Only” not saving anyone from Evil. And in fact codifying Evil to power in the Pharisees and the SadYouSees (sad because they didn’t believe in resurrection or the afterlife).

CCC 2697, “we tend to forget He who IS our life and our all.”

Lawyers make a living making you forget God to chase shiny object rainbows that can’t last. As their Egos turn into MeGos with their temporary power and $$$.

I guess your talking about congress and yes they are corrupted by money, but they are corrupted by the real power, mega corporations and the banks. How do we fix this?

In fact to fix this here and other nations is the NWO proposal for world Govt. that is to meld Govt the corporations/banks and the church/religion. And the Pope and other religious leaders supports this idea to bring about some form by law, social justice.

But Social Justice on any terms is not Biblical. The Pope and others have called for,

"Global redistribution of wealth from rich countries to poor countries."

This is not a biblical model in the old or new testaments. The Bible says God made people to be rich and people to be poor and that those that have need to take care of the less fortunate.

Social Justice the church wants is theistic-communism. Just as some believe Adam and Eve were not real people, that God had a hand in evolution, and they call it theistic evolution; both are Marxist atheist concepts (evolution/ communism) with a religious veneer.

Jesus' fix for the world ill's corruption of money being the root of all is not coming up with a new spin on some social justice theory, where the answer is the Gospel of Christ and I change from the inside out, not from the outside in or top down. This is the Holy Spirt controlling man and not some man made structure. That Spirit that transforms life from within is a deposit for what is to come our redemption and His return to bring justice and He builds His kingdom at that time, anything else will fail or lead to massive deception.

It's called communism. Pushed by China and Russia the left has embraced critical theory right from the lips of Carl Marx. This is the planned destruction of the democratic republic and it's capitalistic economic system. This has been going sin the end of WW II. Khrushchev warned us that "we will bury you." Once this destruction is complete, there will be chaos, many will lament the mistakes we have made and corruption that comes with it all levels.

Already liberal states and cities are beginning to realize the mistake they have made.

At some point in perfect timing the great final deception will come. Someone claiming to be The second coming of Christ will come first, with real signs and wonders and expose all of this and offer to with what appears to be miraculous powers rescue the world from this, and the whole world will run after him as they flee this massive iron monster that consumes the whole earth, the NWO.

What we are seeing now is the groundwork being laid for just such an event. A time for real discernment and wisdom, focusing on being close to Jesus Christ and walking in His Spirit and not the flesh, because what is coming will appear to be very good like honey in the mouth but turn bitter in the stomach even for Christians.

Now here is a scary thought. What if Trump wins, but he and his supporters are not enough to stop this. This very proud boastful arrogant mocker, lashes out at the evil winning and the man of sin comes along to help Trump rescue America and bring back the good ole days? Would he not embrace that opportunity, make deal with the devil? Because is not everything about Trump really about himself? No prediction here just a thought.

“Hear the word of the Lord, ye children of Israel: for the Lord hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land. By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood toucheth blood. Therefore shall the land mourn, and every one that dwelleth therein shall languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven; yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away.”

I read a few years ago an article on this subject that mentioned approx. 10%-20% of the teaching staff working in the Detroit school system (one of the most well-funded public screwl systems) were found to be functionally illiterate. Their unions, of course, protect their jobs.

Here's to Unionized teachers!

Onward, Christian soldiers!

Here in Wisconsin, about ten years ago, we passed something called Act Ten, that reduced the power of the teacher's unions. You should have seen the protests! Now they have "installed" a new liberal Wisconsin Supreme Court Judge, so the legislation will probably get repealed.

No union should ever get this powerful.

I had high hopes that President Trump's Education Secretary would federalize school vouchers vs. property taxes to finance all school education. That would be a stake in the heart for our corrupted education system, particularly in larger metro areas.

Vouchers would provide in-hand education funding for whatever education the parent(s) elect, whether public, private, home school, whatever is accredited. Now, property owners are forced to finance public screwel edumacation, along with home schooling, parochial or private schooling expenses added to it. Public screwels have become the "general assistance" fund of teachers, not the place of learning.

Funding alternative schools would end the careers of many mediocre or worse public screwel teachers.

Onward, Christian soldiers!

Yes. We need to turn education into a private enterprise. I have heard about other countries doing just that. The competition to get students enrolled encourages much better schools and teachers.

The current teacher's unions prevent bad educators from being let go or even penalized. Too much money is spent on upper management and not enough in the classrooms

Maybe Trump will get it done in his second term.
