What In The World Has Happened To America?
Unless we admit how far we have fallen, we will never have any hope of turning things around.
Over the years, I have written a lot of articles that are extremely critical of America.
But of course I deeply love this nation. My father was an officer in the U.S. Navy, and my siblings and I were raised to be deeply patriotic.
And so that is why I can’t stay silent as this nation plunges into depravity.
One of the reasons why I am so excited to be on Substack is because I can just let things fly without having to worry about what the censors will think. So you may notice that the tone of this piece is a little bit different from my usual articles.
To get things started, I would like for you to look at this photo from 1904…
Can you guess which city that was?
If you can believe it, that was actually St. Louis.
But today St. Louis is one of the most dangerous cities in the entire world.
So many of our once beautiful cities have degenerated into drug-infested, crime-ridden hellholes, and we are currently in the midst of the worst drug crisis in the entire history of the United States.
Just look at what is going on in Philadelphia. Open air drug markets operate freely, and addicts stagger around like zombies in broad daylight…
Our leaders have the resources to clean this up if they wanted to do so.
But of course that is not the agenda.
Today, even if drug dealers are caught and put in prison, they are often just given a slap on the wrist by Soros-funded district attorneys…
It took decades for us to sink this low, and turning things around is not going to be easy.
Vast amounts of illegal drugs continue to pour over our unsecured borders every single day, and at this point we have so many addicts that they are literally being found just about everywhere…
A Washington state homeowner was stunned to find that a 24-year-old man was living in the attic of his property after he smelled cigarette smoke and noticed that he was missing some items in the house.
The unidentified homeowner called police on Monday after he followed the scent of the smoke and discovered signs of a person living in a loft area of a building on his property.
"They found a makeshift bed, clothes that didn't belong to them, food that was halfway eaten, drug paraphernalia, a heater turned on upstairs," police said in their report.
Of course illegal drugs are just part of the puzzle.
Our education system is a massive dumpster fire, our entertainment industry is a cesspool of filth, most of our politicians are deeply corrupt, the pharmaceutical companies are becoming wealthier and more powerful with each passing day, and our communities are falling apart all around us.
We literally have become a raging “idiocracy”, and the rest of the world loves to make fun of us…
Meanwhile, much of the population is into things that are too disturbing to even discuss…
Can you imagine what our founders would think if they could see us today?
At this point, we even have 13-year-old kids that are performing as drag queens…
And just a little while ago I came across a story that made me want to lose my lunch…
What has happened to our military?
At one time we had the greatest fighting machine on the entire planet.
But now it has become a politically-correct sideshow.
Of course the change in the culture of the military has been dictated from the White House.
Everything that Joe Biden touches turns out badly, and at this point a staggering 78 percent of the population is extremely pessimistic about the direction of the nation…
Seventy-eight percent of Americans doubt their children will be better off in President Joe Biden’s America, according to a WSJ-NORC poll released Friday.
Seventy-eight percent represents the highest share of Americans who are pessimistic since the survey began asking the question in the 1990s.
How in the world did Joe Biden ever get into the White House in the first place?
Anyone with half a brain should have been able to see that he is not all there mentally.
In fact, they are even making comedy skits about it on the other side of the globe…
With radical leftists running things in Washington, there is no hope that things will turn around in the immediate future.
In fact, it is likely that conditions will actually start deteriorating even more rapidly.
This month, we have already seen the second and third largest bank failures in all of U.S. history, and now we have learned that Americans pulled 98.4 billion dollars out of the banks in one week alone…
Federal Reserve data showed that bank customers collectively pulled $98.4 billion from accounts for the week ended March 15, as Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank failed.
If America is already in such rough shape, can you imagine what our country will look like if the banking system implodes and the economy plunges into a depression?
You might want to start thinking about that, because that is where things are headed.
We are living in a nightmare, but the truth is that everything that we have been through so far is just the tip of the iceberg.
