5 Reasons Why I Have Made A Decision To Start A Substack Newsletter

Yes, I finally made the jump.

Readers have been telling me that I should start a Substack newsletter for quite some time, but initially I was hesitant to do so.

I have always felt that when something isn’t broke, it shouldn’t be fixed. I have been doing things the same way for many years, and today my work touches millions of people all over the globe.

But after careful evaluation of the pros and cons, I have decided that Substack needs to be a part of the next chapter in my adventure. The following are 5 reasons why I have made a decision to start a Substack newsletter…

#1 When Feedburner shut down their email service, I was left with no way to send out my articles to my subscribers. I evaluated other potential options, but it became clear to me that Substack is the best choice. So starting from today, if you subscribe to my Substack you will never miss another update.

#2 Unlike other email services, Substack also offers a blog where readers will be able to find an archive of everything that I post on Substack from this point forward. In the past, I have had to clog up my websites with lots of banner ads in order to generate sufficient revenue to continue doing what I do. On Substack I am not going to do that, and so I will be depending on my faithful readers to sign up for paid subscriptions. #3 One of the things that I love about Substack is that it allows me to say exactly what I want to say. On so many other platforms, I constantly have to be aware of the censors behind the curtain. #4 For a long time, readers have been asking how to financially support my work. Other than buying my books, I didn’t have a lot to offer.
