Clearly what is happening outwardly is the evidence of what is happening spiritually in the western culture. And the Church is totally at fault. Judgement begins with the House of the Lord. We have failed to head all the warnings to the church given in Scripture. And we are reaping what we are sowing.
Paul clearly states this in Romans 11: 17-25.
Paul warns we gentiles were grafted in and Israel was broken off for unbelief. If we follow in Israel's path we will be broken off as well so don't get conceited. If we (the Gentiles) do not continue in God's kindness, we will be cut off. (and that is happening now) And then God in His proper timing will graft Israel back in for He is able to do it and will. And that in the last 12 years or so has started in a massive way, the church is exploding in Israel.
Jesus said when you see the fig tree (Israel) start to bloom it becomes tender and brings forth leaves (notice this is what Paul was referring to, Israel gets re-connected to the root-Christ and the dead tree comes back to life), dry bones stand up and flesh and life are put back on them. we know the time of the return is near (this is at the of Matt 24)
I digress, Israel has only been through a partial hardening until the Gentile Church is no longer bringing in true converts, Paul says the full number has been brought in and there is no more to come.
The Spirit of God has ignited the Gospel in Israel and their gospel and doctrine is sold. The church in America the west is going in the opposite direction, just look at the culture.
There will be revival in these days but not in the west. The Book of Revelation says what it will look like, coming from Israel Rev 7, 11 and 14.
Notice all this awakening, massive conversions, massive power and Miracles comes out of Israel the two witnesses and the 144,000, no mention of the gentile church here. We will be here but not leading the way. The Gospel and the Church started as a Jewish centered church and ends there, it comes back home. Jesus said it, salvation comes from the Jews, Jesus returns just as he left, Jerusalem. Jesus comes home and so will we.
But it also says in the Bible that there is "no Jew or Gentile for all are one in Christ Jesus". Also, are you even sure that the "Jews" actually *are* Jews and not something else entirely? I for one, am not sure. We will see what will happen. Where did Jesus say that salvation comes from the Jews? Salvation comes from the grace of God, not Jews... Are you "Jewish" by any chance?
Jesus said it in John 4:22. What he was referring to was Himself, being a Jew a descendant of Abraham, Moses and King David. He left this world on the Mt of Olives and will return to the exact same place the Mt of Olives. Where the church started was in Israel and was non-gentile (Jewish) at Pentecost. When Jesus left it was there and when He returns it's there. Read Romans ch 9-11. It's shocking very clear.
While the White House Christmas performance is not bad, I think for the respect and honor due to the office of the Presidency the performance is in bad taste. But bad taste goes well with a lack of common sense in our day and age.
And the battle lines become more clearly defined with each day.
