Why did the Iranians attack ships during Khamenei's funeral? They knew the U.S. would bomb. I suspect they are further galvanizing the population against "The Great Satan". They inundate the people with "look, they killed our leader and then bomb us during his funeral." Domestically, they're getting a lot of juice out of little squeeze with the timing.
Something still puzzles me. You keep saying this or that will deter the Moslem fanatics (believers). What information, analysis and assumptions lead you to the conclusion of deterrence? My five decades of observation and experience with Moslems lead me to the opposite conclusion, but I am always open to new insight. In short, my conclusion is that the ONLY path to deterrence is the relentless and successful pursuit of the destruction of every IRGC unit and the death of all (not just the ones who do not "surrender" ) Moslem belligerents.
If you continue to refuse to acknowledge this I would suggest you just withdraw, stop wasting ordnance and money and prepare to fight them in New Jersey.
All I heard about the last days when I was younger, are about Gog and Magog. Both countries are in the same general area as Iraq and Iran. I hate all this stop and starting up again. Just do it and we won't have to worry about Iran in the future.
Michael makes it sound that we and the Iranians are equals in this conflict. I thought we destroyed their military? Why is it being portrayed that way? I think after the midterms this war will really escalate and we will put the finishing touches on this regime
