I hope we're not using the currently homeless as a "meat shield of denial", because as you point out, many of us are not far from slipping over the edge ourselves. The trick is... how many will slide into despair or entitlements, and how many will fight to keep their dignity and find work elsewhere, or find productive ways to sustain themselves. The dole is a horrible place to end up, and I've watched so many give up their self-respect out of despair. I hope others of us can show charity towards those who are struggling and need a hand up (and not a (inter) generational/perpetual handout)

As our economy devolves, as I clearly see happening very soon, many of the middle class will just be wiped out. The dollar will become worthless, the stock market will crash and the banks will fail. Much as the government would love to support us (thereby making us totally dependent), they simply cannot. Of course, there's always the possibility that I don't know what I'm talking about. But if I'm right, time is running out.

As I've warned you previously, get your money out of the banks and the market NOW, if not sooner. Buy physical silver and/or gold. Do not trust that the current regime will swoop in and save you, because they won't.

In Matthew 25:35-40, Jesus says, "For I was hungry and you fed me. I was thirsty and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger and you invited me into your home. I was naked and you gave me clothing. I was sick and you cared for me. I was in prison and you visited me."

Then the servants of Jesus will answer, "Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you?" Jesus responds by saying, "Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me."

Then the King will say to his servants, "Enter, you who are blessed by my Father. Take your inheritance, the Kingdom of Heaven, prepared for you before the creation of the world."

The real scary thing is that there will be massive numbers of hungry and thirsty and no one to help but the Govt or major agencies.

Like in Ukraine war zone. This war has devastated and displaced thousands. Agencies like the US govt and the UN are bringing humanitarian supplies as well as Christian agencies like Samaritans Purse that is bringing in over a $million of aid a week, and they are using the churches as distribution points bringing opportunities to share the gospel. This needs to be the model for our local churches here in America.

When they decide to pull the trigger on the great reset and default on the dollar and all it's bonds, it will be horrific. From a direct source from on of the meetings the FED had with bank executives; that when this happens they have set up secure places for key workers to live and work, for it won't be safe. They will shutter all brick and motor banks because it won't be safe to be open and will never open again. All the major law enforcement depts. in the national govt and state govts. as well as the US military have plans in place to deal with the internal chaos and massive civil strife, this includes bringing in the blue helmet guys and this is just the president to do that. All of them have been fully briefed that this is coming and plans have been put in place.

Every congressman and senator knows this is coming but can't say anything because the chaos would start in an uncontrolled, un-timed manor and even more would die, so they have to be quiet.

It will be the worse in and around the major cities in all states. The most effected will not be the middle class not by numbers but by percentage; are the poor and inner city people. They will absolutely be devastated. Already in St Louis, inner city groups are coming out to the suburbs (the really rich ones) and taking what they need, often in broad daylight.

There will be mass shootings every day (this is why the Govt has but few hindrances on buy guns, we have had record gun sales). Why? So when this hits ,the govt will just sit back and watch us kill each other in mass. Then they will come in with force and take guns and kill people who are causing the chaos and people will be relieved that somehting is being done to stop the madness.

In 2 Thessalonians chapter 3 Paul says that the person who doesn't work should not eat! To me, there are two kinds of homeless people; the ones that even though they worked a lot could not make ends meet (I have compassion for these) and there are those who live a life of drug and alcohol addiction and utter, complete idleness (these are the ones who should not eat and I feel zero tolerance for them). Idleness abounds in this Nation, and it is one of the 7 deadly sins. I know many immigrants who have come recently to this Country and have been able to get a job in construction and other places and are paying their cars and other bills without a problem, even though most of them do not speak fluent English as yet. The Government must stop giving handouts and start forcing more people to work!

As a cop for 25 years and via our church worked with a major homeless center, the public perception of the homeless is not very accurate. The vast majority of the homeless have severe mental/psychological or emotional issues. Most can't work because they can no longer deal with the stress of work or even just everyday life. Most have families who will take car of them but they have to live by rules and take their meds. and they refuse to to do that so they live on the street. Instead of therapy, finding Christ or medications they choose street drugs to get by.

Paul in 2 Thess deals with people who are just lazy with bad theology they were just waiting around for the Lord to return and not working, or seeing the charity of the work of the church and decided to live off of that. About 25-35% of the home less are like that but they are the minority.

Sorry brother, I thought just like that before but not anymore. I'm tired of finding excuses for sin. In the end sin is an illness, and one that increases in severity if not checked in time (Romans chapter 1), but one that we can overcome by the power of the Blood of Jesus and the Holy Spirit working in our lives, but we must be willing, because God does not force anyone, and for us to be willing, we must suffer the consequences of our iniquities. Do you think the Prodigal son would have returned to his father if his money had not run out?? Only there and then he realized and repented of his faults. The Bible and mainly the Book of Proverbs is full of invectives against the idle and busybody! Governments must tell all people that: "If you do not work when you are able to, you will perish of hunger!" I assure you that many more people would be working instead of choosing to live a life of abandonment and idleness. There are cases like the ones you described but I think they are the minority.

God bless you brother!

Oh wow, I'm so sorry. There was nothing that I said that was making excuses for sin or making any reference to sin vs righteousness. I just dealt with the facts, the reality of the "motives" for why people don't work or the homeless and why they do what they do. Of course it's all sin, they are not in Christ. We as Christians have sin our lives also, and we need and live by God's grace daily so it would be hypocritical for me to say oh just look at the those lazy sinners headed for hell, I'm so sick and tired of them all and their excuses.

My righteousness is not my heart, my conduct or my theology, it's Christ's righteousness that He covers me with by His Grace received by faith as a free gift, what He and what His Spirit does through me, thus I can not boast in anything. Everything outside of that is worthless. and will be burned up.

So why are you so tired of the sinful world filled with sinners making excuses for all their sins? Are you giving up? (I'm so tired is an, I give up statement). It's about to get a whole lot worse, more insanity, more depression, more lostness, more anger and bitterness where people are looking for answers everywhere but Christ, even more Christians (falling away where their love grows cold) into that ditch.

And your response is that I'm just so tired of it all?

Let me repeat myself, I am tired of people, myself included, making excuses for sin and wickedness! God did not do it, nor His prophets nor His disciples. Sin is inexcusable and must be abhorred, detested and condemned! That's the pattern I see in the Bible, anything other than that is doctrine of demons! When Jesus remained alone with that adulterous woman (John 8), after He plainly revealed the hypocrisy and wickedness of those who were about to stone her to death, He did not sit down with her, at least the Bible doesn't say so, and asked her why, for what reason she lived that life of sin. No, all the Savior told her was, "neither do I condemn you, GO AND SIN NO MORE." That must be every Christian's attitude towards sin! I have never claimed to be blameless and sinless, yet, when I see iniquity in my life or in others, I try to expose and rebuke it, for doing so, I render true service to God, and may the Lord forgive me for the times I have failed to do so! And in the process, Persecution is unleashed!
