I grew up in a St. Patrick's Parish, but knew little of his story other than him using the shamrock to illustratrate the Holy Trinity to converts in Ireland.

Thank you for the article.

I would love to see a similar deep dive on St. Joseph, the patron Saint of my current Parish.

Amazing, I started at Campus Church run by a conservative christian pastor that was Irish. He at one time mentioned St. Patrick as the person that drove the snakes out of Ireland, and they swam across the ocean and came to America. The Irish are funny in a way, his preaching was exceptional, and with that Irish accent and I do miss him.

Wow, that was very enlightening. Thanks Michael. The similarities with Joseph being kidnapped and sold into slavery with years of suffering in order to serve God's greater plan are something to remembers is suffering averse American Christians. The Passover connection if it had been kept by the Church would have kept us from so much pagan influence.

How many Christian's understand that the Last Supper was really Jesus at His Passover before He became our Passover ?

This is another great example of the spread of the gospel around the world after 70 AD. There is so much history that has been lost in time on how fr the gospel spread around the world, we just don't know and I think when we go home or the Lord returns we will be shocked about all the Lord did via history that we do not know about.
