Well, you just answered your own FREQUENTLY-repeated question. The more crowded an environment is, the more violence, anger, and competitiveness occurs. If anyone took first year Psychology classes, you'll remember the experiments where they keep adding mice to cages. The cages with a few mice are nice and friendly. The more mice you add, even when the cage sizes are increased, the more fighting and more turmoil there is. More competition for food, even when MORE than enough food is provided, the mice now believe their food may be eaten by the additional mice. City dwelling is no different it seems.
Ask friends/neighbors in smaller towns or rural areas what happens when them there cityfolk start plumping up the local population -- it's never good, is it? Nope! And not because of the imaginary change in voting, because I've lived in too many small/rural areas and I know that *liberal paradise* candidates don't even make it to any ballots, so don't try to pull that.

Detroit has cleaned up A LOT in recent years. A lot of businesses have moved back to the downtown area and all the sports arenas are there now (not out in the suburbs).
Yes, there’s a long way to go, but the areas they’ve cleaned up are bustling and active. Luxury apartments are a thing in Detroit now. People see it as a destination these days, not a place to avoid. I think people need to update their perspective on Detroit.
Bankruptcy was the best thing that happened to the city. It’s come out a lot stronger in the end.
The difference between the cities and the countryside (rural areas) is that the cities are created by man and need constant attention as is maintenance, upgrades and rebuilding. That costs a fortune. Whereas in the rural areas, most of it is natural and very little of it needs constant attention unless used for farming or ranching. Nowhere near as expensive as keeping the cities functioning.
Isn’t New York suing Westfield because they were counting on the revenue? Westfield in San Francisco lost its main tenant Nordstrom recently and the mall looks like a ghost town now.
When/if the black swan event happens here, the Govt whomever is in charge will declare a national emergency, the FED with the treasury dept will declare a default and blame whomever allegedly did the false flag and then watch the chaos reign.
