Canada is in worse shape. Much worse. We are owned by China. Taxed by Trudeau. Invaded by 1.2 million “migrants”, the highest per capita in the world.

Of course we are; it's by intent. Humanity must be made desperate enough to beg for Anti-Christ to assume control, and "save" them!

I agree that we all should get prepared. But the biggest block to be truly prepared is to live somewhere defendable. If you live in the 'burgs, you cannot defend your property properly, no matter what you do. And that's if you have the will, the money, and the ability to do so. I live by myself, am female, 68 years old, and live in a townhouse. When it gets bad, like it's going to, I am "toast" as they say.

I'm in a similar situation. I've lived a good life and if the worst happens, then so be it. I've tried to prepare as much as possible, but there's only so much I can do. Either God will protect us or we'll meet Him in Heaven. God bless you and keep you.

To live somewhere defendable, I assume your talking about defend against bad guys coming with guns. In the chaos you will have to deal with the crazies, but the Govt? They wont come after you, they will cancel every service and asset outside the walls of your home. You go anywhere you will need an ID, you buy anything outside the system you will be ratted out at some time. If that is not enough, they will send in the drones at night or when they know you are asleep, they will end this.

I'm not saying you should not prepare it's impossible for everyone to prepare for everything and what do you do when your supplies run out? Alanna is right, it;s not about survival it's about doing what I can and trust God for the rest.

My truck insurance went up 50% in September and I’ve never had an accident or claim in my whole life. Been driving for over 20 years.

How bad can the economy be when the stock market keeps setting new record highs?

Stock market stays where it is told to stay. It is completely controlled by the elitists. When they are ready to crash it, it will be something we have never seen or experienced. I feel for the people who own gold on paper. I've learned recently that one of those companies only have 8% of physical gold vs the amount of gold their clients have on paper. When stock market starts to crash, their clients will demand their gold to be sent to them and the company won't have enough gold to cover everybody. Whew....man....I can't even imagine the chaos and fear that will strike this nation.

I heard it from Adam Taggert at Thoughtful Money. I thought it was perfect!

Those who have money put it into the stock market. Those who don't, don't. The stock market means nothing to me. And when cash goes kaput, there goes the stock market.

I think you should ask some of our seniors who survived its last big crash, how it "didn't affect their lives". My parents and grandparents lived through it: I heard the tales. My Dad's family ate well, because they were farmers and raised all their own, even meat and dairy. Sugar, salt, and coffee were about all they bought. My Mom's family lived in a city, and SCRAMBLED daily to keep a roof overhead and food on the table, because no one was buying ornamental iron work during those yrs. We already have supply chain issues and skyrocketing living costs... When the market crashes, those will both get a lot worse!

I didn't say it won't affect my life. Not at all. There's nothing I can do to stop it when it crashes. And that is what I meant when I said that it means nothing to me. I don't pay attention to it. I don't care how high it is. It's all an illusion anyway.

No, there isn't anything we can do to stop it. If you have any appreciable savings or retirement, get those into real metals as fast as possible; when the crash happens any cash in regular banks can and almost certainly will be confiscated, to prop them up, and forget about FDIC, it will be gone. "Biden" signed that into law 2.5 yrs ago. That's about all you can do, to protect yourself now.
