Thank you for making The Good News your bottom line after all the bad news! As an older, lone woman who is underemployed, I must rely on my Saviour Jesus on Whom I cast all my cares. He seemed to chuckle when I said He had to be my CFO & advised (back when I had a decent income) that I convert 50% of savings to noble metals. Now, that leaves me breathless at years end: property tax is due, but it's enough. And the Au & Ag forecast looks tremendous in '24!

Jesus said the love of money is the root of all evil. It actually boils down to what money (in the Greek it is actually manna), all the stuff money can buy. That love of stuff and the desire for it, is the love of what it brings, (power and control) this is what has fueled all wars and conflicts . Money talks and poverty walks is an eternal truth. Most all murders are about sex (power and control) or money (power and control) or revenge over the two.

Can we not see this has corrupted all of us and the whole world and how desperately we need Christ and His salvation, to redeem us from ourselves (all our sin is wrapped up in the idea that we want the power control and freedom to do what we want). The idea of freedom is a two edged sword. External tyranny is always evil because it comes from other fallen people controlling us bringing injustice. But we are the same inwardly, have we not all at one time or another been unjust, controlling and evil toward others? This world is doomed and so are all of us without the grace of Christ and the cross on our lives. As Michael has said all of this is a call for all of us to repent and believe in Christs gospel, for if not we will face the same justice from God we all so richly deserve.

If push comes to shove, the financial system can “handle” pretty much anything - but it will require even larger government deficits and money printing. This will have consequences (eg higher inflation) but the systemically important banks will NEVER be allowed to fail.

So if push comes to shove; it's the four economic horsemen of; (1) hyper-inflation, (2) $Trillions in US sovereign debt, (3) sorcerer banksters creating new money and (4) deep-economic-recession?

We the People will never recover from the consequences of the Federal Reserve and the United States government bailing out the big banks again. The TARP bailout (2008-2009) that was done under GWB/Obama was the final nail in the coffin of Smith/Ricardian neo-classical free-markets in the USA. Since TARP was enacted under Secretary of Treasury Henry Paulsen, the federal government has been controlled 100% by the big banks. [FYI: Henry Paulsen is a Fabian.]

Just wait until FY 2024, when over $8 Trillion in maturing US Treasuries have to be "rolled-over", while the interest payments on the $33.5 Trillion debt and the 2024 deficit combined exceeds $2 Trillion! That means over $10 Trillion in fresh new money will have to be created out of blue-sky in 2024 by the Federal Reserve, to keep the US government in business.

A bag of gold will buy a loaf of bread, if bag of gold is a days wages, we're sunk.

Fantastic read, thanks!

I hope Todd Sachs talks about this on his podcast tonight.

Just read Chaos. I recommend it, if anyone besides geese listens to me. So stay tight with God, be sure you have food and cash set aside, and don't just pat the sidearm, take it out and SHOOT IT. Be sure it works. A saw is only as good as the sawyer, after all. And remember, we are all going to die. What matters is how you lived, and the witness you bore to Him.

How about Just reading the Bible,

How does 1 Peter 2:21-25 and Matt 5:43-48 set an example for us?

These three banks are run by evil men and women who hate humanity and want to enslave mankind. Citigroup and Gold Mansacks are, as well. I think you might mean well, but when you write about the terrible people who have been ruining lives for the last 110 years, you might want to know that many of your readers have suffered at their hands. We have watched their filthy corrupt friends in government bail them out in 2009 and again in 2020. Maybe you should be more compassionate about the people who didn't help Jeffrey Epstein with his child rape island.

And your not evil? It's easy to say those people in the Banks are evil those people like Epstein (another evil Jew) they are the evil ones, and yet can i not look at the evil in my own life. Have we not done evil to others in our own lives, things we regret and are sorry for? So you being evil how can you judge others, for in doing so you condemn yourself as well.

Expand full comment

Correct I am not evil. I was told how to know the evil, by their fruit shall ye know them. I don't judge nor do I condemn, but I understand. Jesus Christ sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty and comes to judge the living and the dead. I will go right on perceiving the good from the evil by observing their fruit. The corrupt, evil tree brings forth corrupt evil fruit. And if you demand evil be called good, you err. If you call the good evil, you mislead many.

God bless you. Amen.

that was not my point or my question. No man can say I'm not evil, in of myself, that is spiritual self-righteousness. We are to walk humbly before our God. Our ability to stand before the throne of Grace, Even to say i know what evil is, is making a judgement call between good and evil, observing fruit being good and evil is making a judgement. I stand because of God's grace toward me. He gives me His perfect righteousness to cover my fallen nature. Even at my Christian Holy Spirit led best I'm not perfect. There was only one perfect man Christ who stands before the father as my advocate, thus without Christ's ongoing intervention via the Spirit I can not stand. It's all about God's grace mercy and love being poured out to me,something I can not do or earn. This is the true meaning of Thanksgiving. I stand before HIM by His Grace, His will, His selection of me, as Paul said (and who among us is greater than Paul?) I can boast in nothing, Gal 6:14 But may it never be that I would boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through [a]which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

100% Daniel all of our works are as filthy rags, God bless you Daniel for this truth you are prepared to die for. His grace is sufficient for the day but is from everlasting to everlasting as we remain in Him.

For this is truly the meaning of the man who built his house upon the rock when the storm came & the storm is here.
