Certain websites like to harp on Californians moving to redder pastures all the time, but I have rentals in 11 states including California. I'm the one who gets called first when it's time for good rental references. I got calls from out of state landlords checking on my former tenants, but I've more recently been getting landlords' new inquiries back in Cali for my former Cali tenants who are moving back.

I knew it can't just be my tenants and people I know, so the briefest search showed that MANY Californians who bolted a couple years back have been returning to the state for myriad reasons. So let's not live under the delusion that Blue-staters are all desperate to live and STAY in red states. They aren't.

well said PT we as American's via the media like to look at complex problems in just one aspect all propaganda. I've lived in CA half my 73 years and all my extended family live there, been told very much of what you have said. This red state blue state movement is total BS

more propaganda from all sides. Mo is considered a blue state

Republicans hold 111 of the 163 seats in the Missouri House and 24 of the 34 seats in the state Senate,

But it is still very hard to get a solid conservative agenda done. Party label don't mean much anymore very misleading
