It is my humble opinion we are witnessing the "birth pangs" immediately before the beginning of the Great Tribulation, Armageddon and the Return of Jesus Christ as King of kings :
For the Biblically literate, we, (humanity), were forewarned in Biblical prophecy these current events would come to pass centuries before we began seeing them on a daily basis. For those who still believe "we can fix this" through politics or central bank fiat money financing the implements of war, no, we can't; because it's not a temporal battle. It's an on-going spiritual war that began long before any of us existed, coming to its climax in our time. Earth is the battleground where YHVH God will force Lucifer into becoming flesh as the Antichrist, to then be cast by Yeshua Messiah into the bottomless pit for 1,000 years. It is my theory the Garden of Eden was YHVH's plan to trap Lucifer on planet earth and Adam and Eve were the bait.
Therefore, we can only choose a "side" to support and work with in this battle. But there is no "fence sitting" now or “do-overs” later. We must each actively choose the side of light and good, of YHVH God and His Son; or we default to the other side of darkness and evil and Satan. Therefore, if you haven't actively chosen Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of Heaven...then you need to rethink that decision. For each of us, today, there are no other options; I have made my choice and His name is Jesus (Yeshua); I pray each of you who read this Michael Snyder Substack comment will make the correct choice. This situation has gained so much momentum on the side of destructive power, that humanly it's impossible to stop it. Hezbollah is a terrorist group. The nation of Lebanon is a failed state and Hezbollah has taken over, they are not the legally elected govt of Lebanon, that make them illegal.
Illegal is not the same as terrorist. Furthermore Lebanon is a secular state - the north has a large Christian population whereas the South is Moslem. I visited last November and really enjoyed the country.

Lebanon was "christian" dominated (Maronite) govt. that was failing. There was a massive civil war that lasted over a decade. The Govt was allied with the west and a minority of Muslims resented that.
Once Israel became a state many Muslims migrated to Lebanon, that changed the demographics of the country. In 1975 fighting broke out between the Christian lead Govt and militias including the PLO backed by Russia. Since the treaty to end the war politics has been chaotic but until last year a coalition headed by Hezbollah (backed by Iran) had control of the govt. The last election in 2022 saw Hezbollah lose some seats and a majority in parliament, but they still wield a lot of power. Hezbollah's military is acting independently of the Lebanese army and the Govt is powerless to stop it.
That's what is going on. and to call Lebanon a purely secular govt. Just defies the facts on the ground and their tumultuous history, involving various Muslim and Christian factions, that is still going on today, religion drives everything, not secularism.
