We certainly can't save ourselves, & we cant depend or put our trust in man or the systems of men, or the arm of the flesh but we can seek after God with all our hearts, perhaps feel our way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us, repent and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord. Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.”
So that is the beginning steps that need to be taken. Creator God himself states; "Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart." Jer 29:12-13
I encourage you today to “Seek the Lord while he may be found;
call upon him while he is near; let the wicked forsake his way,
and the unrighteous man his thoughts;
let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
We had our youth group meeting at church tonight. The topic was about God's will and plan for us to work and not only work hard but do all things as doing unto the Lord. We had some great questions and discussions and prayer.
These 13-18 year olds are aware of what's going on but they have no idea the impact this is going to have on their lives, that is at their door. We talk about it but they just don't have a full concept of how bad it's going to be. In fact most adult Christians including us ourselves may not fully comprehend how bad it's going to be. In fact I thing we all will be surprised this will be more than we imagine.
If you still have large amounts of money in the stock market or a bank, you are a fool. Prayer is wonderful, but if God sends a boat, you need to get in.
I heard in a video last night that Wisconsin just passed a law making precious metals exempt from sales tax. Why would they do that?
