Also, the June 2025 Israel-Iran conflict followed two years of attacks by Iran and its proxies on Israel, including the Oct. 7 atrocity that was much celebrated in the West and pushed Israel further into a corner.

I don't believe the verifiable data support that assertion. The attack by Israel was much anticipated because of Iran's actions in the prior six months. The results of the 2025 war crippled much of Iran's nuclear capability. However, Iran's supporters worked overtime to help Iran rebuild its arsenal and potential nuclear and chemical/biological weapons program. That, along with the 2026 massacre of Iranian protesters, led to the most recent war. It is noteworthy that Iran is willing to pay virtually any price to preserve its nuclear weapons program. Where is it written that Israel is expansionist? I've read that Israel wants to occupy parts of the Golan Heights to stop the shelling of schools and hospitals. I was in Israel and witnessed such daily shelling and genocidal threats being broadcast into Israel. Studies from Harvard and elsewhere on U.S. media coverage over the past forty years have shown distinct distortions and a lack of professionalism.
The worst part of the Western and media response is that it encourages the Arabs and Palestinians to continue to wage a war of annihilation against Israel. It signals to them that, with a little more propaganda and a few more attacks, they might get the US to stop supporting Israel, so they can destroy the country and kill all the Jews (their stated aim, which is part of the definition of genocide).
