I question whether this is truly the war of Gog and Magog written about In Ezekiel 38 and 39. Wasn't God supposed to supernaturally protect Israel from the attack? Or perhaps, this is just a precursor of some sort. I can't explain it, but it just doesn't feel like WW-III. Maybe it's wishful thinking on my part. Don't get me wrong. I'm ready for the Rapture any time. I just sense that I have awhile yet. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Israel has always been the key place for God connecting and redeeming man to Himself after the fall, Abraham to Christ. The gospel started in Israel and a Jewish church and it comes home to Israel in the end. Romans ch 9-11.

Israel was was brought back as a nation as prophesied.

Amos 9:14-15, Ezekiel 4:3-6, 34:13, 37:10-14, 22-22 Isaiah 66:7-8, Jeremiah 16:14-15, 31:10, Deuteronomy 30:3-5

Global war has begun and the very center of the real kickoff to global war will not be Europe or the pacific, but the middle east and Israel will be the spark that blows everything else up.

God has miraculously preserved Israel from her many enemies in three major wars 1948, 1967 and 1972.

Does 1948 and 1967 fit into God's prophetic time line

We also know that Jesus cursed Israel for rejecting Him as their Messiah, that they would embrace another who would not come in the name of God but the name of man (666) and they would embrace Him as their messiah and rescue them and deceive even the world.

It really does seem somehting incredible will need to happen with so much of the whole Arab and Persian (Iranian) world coming against Israel. The treat of nuclear war is very real.

I have no doubt Israel will use them as a last resort.

What a perfect time for the false prince of Peace to come rescue Israel by calling fire down from heaven, take authority over all the nations, so no one can make war (world Peace) the UN will love him.

And he will do it with Signs and wonders that will rival what Jesus did at first.

We shall see, we shall see.
