It’s a celebration of the disembodied spirits wandering the earth—leftovers from Noah’s Flood. I’ve heard Dr Ken Johnson (the Dead Sea Scroll scholar) say he and his wife have considered decorating the outside of their home with items commemorating Noah’s Ark. I thought that was brilliant and I’ve been brainstorming the way to do it at our home. For now, we pass out candy and Jesus Loves You bracelets.

Or how about a representation of Samuel and the Witch of Endor?

We live in Prescott, AZ, on a street that celebrates Halloween like you have never seen in a small town. It’s insane. Google it!

We do not participate. We don't decorate. We don't spend money on candy.

If we are concerned about the rise of the occult in our country, the rise of deception and lies that threaten to drag people into hell, then we can do something about it.

It doesn’t start with the occultists. It starts with us. We are called by the name of Jesus Christ. We need to humble ourselves and pray and turn from our wicked ways. It starts in our homes, in our lives, in our churches.

It’s called Halloween because it’s the eve of All Saints’ Day, those who are hallowed. The evening of November 1 and the day of November 2 are All Souls’ Day, for all the dead, not just saints. I lived in Mexico, where they put up photos, candles, glasses of water, and other favorite things to honor and remember the dead family members and friends. Fruit, chocolate, liquor, xempaxúchitl (marigold), papel picado, candy skulls. I do it now here. It is a beautiful and respectful way to tell their souls that they are still remembered and loved.

𝘈𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘯𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘫𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘥 $11.6 𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘰𝘯 …

Wow! I guess this should shut the lying mouths of those who still try to claim the economy is bad!

Wow that’s an average of $88 per household. I didn’t spend anything so some person with more money spent more than $88. Do you grocery shop? I do and prices are WAY up. Stop peddling your lies here. The horrible economy is true. Those that are insulated from it, like you seem to be, people who have plenty of money or who don’t do their own shopping think the economy is A-OK. You think eggs going from $1.79 for 18 going to $3.79 in a matter of months is ok?

I do my own grocery shopping and although I can afford higher prices I still budget-shop.

You sound like you don’t care how much you spend and don’t bother looking for bargains like I do.

You also sound like you didn’t know that the entire world is in the same predicament regarding higher prices and that the United States of America is racing back to normal affordability much more quickly and successfully than any other country. Or you can try to prove me wrong by listing even ONE nation that has been more successful in bringing prices back down than the US.

Just know that whatever research you do is just going to show you the truth rather than what you just typed.

The Puritans and their witch hunts also brought the pre and mid Tribulation fantasies with them. To try to distinguish from and entice people away from King Henry VIII’s religion. There not only is no biblical reference for get out of Tribulation free cards, bouncing around on clouds with 🍿 watching again as the Body of Christ 2.0 is crucified during Tribulations. Such a fantasy would require one to believe that the Father loves preTribs more than His own son praying in the garden. And sweating blood.

Mixing and mashing celebrations of Pagans with celebrations by the Church Jesus established was an old disInfo trick by Queen Elizabeth I and her astrologer John Dee. Who many claim is the father of modern Satanism. Used to propagandize and justify wars against the Church Jesus established. By the English Protestor hijacking of Christianity. So King Henry VIII could do what ever he wanted to do. Of course Queen Elizabeth I and John Dee went on to use Her Majesty’s naval ships to transport slaves for profit into British Colonies in North America and the Caribbean.

The real Catholic Festival celebrates the Eve before Nov 1, All Saints Day. And is a time of prayer for souls in purgatory. And asking the Body of Christ Saints in Heaven to pray for us. The costumes and candy are the Consumerist version. Like Easter Bunnies candy and Coke’s Santa icon. As long as you aren’t doing occult practices, there is nothing wrong with participating. Even better, pray for all the departed souls like the Church Jesus established is doing today and tomorrow.

As Jesus communicated to St. Faustina, “Satan can wear the cloak of humility. But not the cloak of obedience.” The very nature of Satan is protesting and rebelling. Which is why the Lord’s Prayer always starts off by reordering and properly sequencing with ‘not my will’, but “Thy Will be Done”. All humans are fallible in their interpretations. Which is why Jesus and the Holy Spirit after Pentecost set up Apostolic successions. Which over time, human errors are corrected by the infallible Holy Spirit. As Jesus and the Holy Spirit established their Church to do.

Pray or 🐝 prey.
