How did western civilization ever survive and enter the 21st century without smartphones? I don't even own a phone as I'm retired and live alone and have no use for a phone or need to foolishly squander money on a service I'll never use. My adult children contact me via email is. It's still free.

Hope our phones won't spread rumors, lies, and gossips on our behalf in the future.

Michael, great article. For most of us, these facts about the phones aren't new, but a reminder. These "smart" phone and other "smart" devices will literally kill us, if not make us ill. I, too, do not carry a phone unless absolutely necessary. It is hard to swallow that parents would be paying their children's phone bills until age 30. At that age, I was busy house hunting. Almost one out five "kids" get mommy and daddy to pay their phone bill. Talk about bad parenting. As for "social" media, I don't do any. Substack is as close as it gets for me (and with a pen name). I can't believe the number of dumb people that unwillingly (and unknowingly) give the world so much of their privacy/private information. Big Brother-- Big Guv and Big Biz-- thank all the idiots for making their spying much easier.

Watching the FBI series or Tracker series on CBS gives me the willies. Of course they are trying to nab the criminal, but that data harvesting also could be used to watch me. The authorities clamor for more ways to data harvest to catch those criminals, but I would hesitate to give them more.

I don't do apps on my phone or anywhere else. Not even the substack app which I am sure is yet another privacy invader. You cannot trust these cretins. They want to literally market you to death. All of them want to steal your information, data, privacy and then your life.

Mobile devices are also deadly weapons, as the Israelis proved with remote detonation of them in the hands of declared foes. Tesla (and otherhybrids or electric-only) vehicles are flash fires waiting to happen and emit huge amounts of radiation to those who are driving and riding in them. The electromagnetic frequencies that we're all bathed in from satellites, cell towers (part of the kill box apparatus) the devices in our homes and automobiles (vehicles actually include an event recorded in them as well -- kind of like a black box that has a record of significant events for that vehicle) - the dirty electricity (Alternating Current is hazardous to our health -- direct current was ousted in favor of it when both co-existed at the turn of the century), the radio waves, the smart meters, etc... We are literally participating in our own demise for "convenience" (the same "convenience" that has murdered over 60 million children in what should be the safest place in the universe -- the mother's womb) and because we're hooked on doomscrolling and getting positive feedback on our clever pictures, posts & witty banter. We're so accustomed to technological media as an intermediary in our exchanges with other humans (and androids/bots/AI-based services) that the next step into transhumanism/posthumanism is going to happen before we can even recognize it for what it is -- since people are already married to their electronic devices and can't "live" without them....having them embedded with everyone tied to a "hive mind" overseen by AI, -- it sounds dystopic but we're here. ANd they made us feel like we can't live without it.

Being controlled! We know one day people won't buy or sell without a "Satanic seal" on our body. This will do more than track us. And if you receive a "seal" it would be better to not have been born.

The enemy's attack has been going on for well over a century. It may be that the original Ma Bell line started it. But it was exacerbated by the car. This made it possible to have friends you rarely saw who were outside your community. It helped break up the family. Radio and TV helped a lot also. We were no longer involved in our own entertainment but it was made available by pros. The freeway system helped that a lot, along with the airplane. All of this has broken apart families and communities. Many people now go to churches that are an hour away or more. It's all been a focus of the enemy's world system. The smart phone is certainly alarming in this regard. But it's been coming for a long time. The Lord's solution is even more radical than what He chose to do in the days of Noah. The Great Tribulation, and the soon coming King of Israel.
