It seems to me that we are damned if we do and damned if we don't. Filtration is an option, but not perfect, and not when you are away from home. So, what to do, what to do. We are stuck.

We are on well water and when we remodeled our kitchen, we invested in a reverse osmosis system. I don't know if it gets all of the plastics out, but maybe it helps. I drink that in a large cup, rather than bottled water. I also quit using the plastic wrapped laundry and dishwasher detergent. But if microplastics are in our food too, what hope do we have.
It amazes me that the powers that be are so concerned about the environment, but let something like this go on, knowing how bad it is for us. The de-population plan is real.

In Asia, we boiled the water and let it sit and drink the clear part of the water.
I save glass bottles and use those for carrying drinking water.
