As a cop for 25 years one of my biggest frustrations is that we found these dealers of flesh freed many from this vile trade, but most of the women and girls that are rescued go right back into the trade (willingly or don't want to be a witness) and that makes prosecution a nightmare. We had a drug dealer who was shot by his supplier, and he was running girls as well. When all of this went to trial everyone even the trafficked girls all changed their stories in court and there were no convictions. The vast majority of women that are trafficked come from broken dysfunctional homes. They are lured into the trade with hope of food, money and shelter a sense of life they never had and then it goes sideways, even starving families sell their children. This is a byproduct of our broken families and broken unjust economic systems.
We sent a missionary team to India to do just the same thing long term. They set up safe houses for these girls but in the end, the vast majority end up going back (voluntarily) into the system because it's all they know, 99% totally rejected the gospel. One of our missionaries came home totally dejected. And there are not enough assets to deal with the problem.
The only thing that will stop this, the one weapon that will overcome this is the Gospel and people via the holy spirit respond and repent. Our hope as in abortion, is to rescue as many girls as we can, fight this fight, pray for God's guidance and trust Him for the outcome.
Remember when Donald Trump was asked about QAnon? He said something to the effect that they wanted to save the children and wasn't that a good thing? Yes. Yes it is.
I am in a far right wing chat on the Platform "Telegram", and there were actually people saying they wouldn't see "Sound of Freedom" because they heard that Gibson and Caviezel were themselves pedophiles. Has the whole country gone stark, raving mad?
The problem with our current government is that they're mostly sick individuals. Once they are filmed doing perverse acts, they have to do exactly as they are told or risk being exposed. Remember when Trump promised to drain the swamp? Do you think he just forgot about that?
As for the whole LGBTQ "movement", it's a means to destroy families and people's mental health. It's a way to rebel. I liken it to shorts skirts or goth clothing, only much more harmful. But the long term goal is to make pedophilia (minor attracted persons) seem mainstream. Satan must be overjoyed.

The sound of Freedom is a very good movie and deals with the topic of sex trafficking and the main character is Tim Ballard. But the movie embellishes his character and what he does all in the name of a better story at cost of the truth. The movie sensationalizes child trafficking and not telling the real grim reality of it and that would be a movie no one would want to see. In fact the movie was originally produced by Disney and was never made. Angel Studios bought the rights to the movie.
The movie starts with a child being abducted by force is only a small part of it all. "the majority of child trafficking victims know and trust their traffickers" or they are throw away kids looking for a home and they find that in the trafficker. "Many child trafficking victims are LGBTQ or gender nonconforming youth who have been kicked out of their homes and forced into the sex trade by someone close to them." And drug addicted parents sell their kids for money. Even the main character Tim Ballard has been greatly embellished and they admit they have done that. Can we just tell the truth? No we need to do this to make more money by creating a shock effect, that is what all the embellishment is all about.
Unlike the movie most child trafficked kids are not little children but middle to upper teens, almost 70%.
The real story is here in our communities, people we may know next door not in a foreign land, it's more comfortable to see it over there and not next door, thus it will make more money.
The other issue I have with the movie is that it has been labeled a "Christian" movie about a "Christian Guy." And that is not true. It's a Morman (LDS) movie about a LDS guy. The Major Funder was LDS Glenn Beck, and Angel Studios is an LDS company.
LDS members are not Christians, they have a different God a different Jesus and a different Gospel and a Different Bible. Joseph Smith it's founder is a proven fraud, liar and false prophet.
The LDS have been on a massive campaign to get accepted in the Christian community as Christians and this movie is part of that. We may share the same values but not the same Christ/Gospel.
They say the movie is not political and again that is not true. Mormons believe Jesus will return and rule from Independence MO under the US Constitution that they consider as sacred as Scripture itself.

I did see The Sound of Freedom and it was pretty darn good. 2.5 hours and it seems to go by quickly…. It treats the subject with exquisite sensitivity, if anything it is pretty tame compared to the reality of child trafficking. This video is VERY raw and it has haunted me since I watched it on Rumble
