Exactly. As many of the Boomers as possible. Social Security has been bust for a long time. There was never any "funds set aside". That was a political lie - just like anything else that should come out of their mouths. If SS actually goes belly up, all of the elitist's jobs are no more, and pitchforks will be at the door. Better to kill us off now than face us later. They aren't bringing in the hordes to help the economy. And Obama didn't order guillotines to make salads.

SS went bust because the government “borrowed” all the money we set aside and that of our employers.

The small town I live in has always had just a few restaurants in the 24 years I've lived here. The monied folk have to go to the big city to get the 'good life stuff'

Since things have gotten bad with the economy here the nutty investors and restauranteurs have opened up a bunch of new restaurants on top of the already doing badly existing restaurants. Who said rich people were smart ?

There's only 3 local places to buy food here and I had a dream a while back of the local Walmart supercenter's front entrance boarded up with plywood.

What are people going to do when the places they buy food are no longer open or just full of empty shelves ?

The Bible Belt folk here are already stealing like there's no tomorrow.

What a sight to see the rabid heathen tearing at each other on Black Friday's here in small town. You think it's bad now ?

I can't imagine the hell people in big cities are going to face when it's empty stomachs.

When there's a real catastrophe here in Bidenland don't be caught shopping or on the streets.

Apart from God's intervention in our lives humanity is a lost cause.

"I can't imagine the hell people in big cities are going to face when it's empty stomachs."

If there ends up being mass starvation as would happen if the supply chains broke down (most big cities don't have food stores to last very long at all), and if the systems collapse is total to the point the system cannot hope to deal with it in any way, it will unfortunately be much worse than just the people in big cities being affected.

The Golden Horde will migrate outward from the cities in search of food and water, killing, looting, and eating everything it can, like zombies but with battery-operated drones, and stores of lithium ion batteries that will last a long time. Some will take vehicles, but most won't be able to leave through them due to the pileup of traffic, and even if they can will run out of gas, since most petrol stations will quickly be drained.

They will come on foot in groups from areas of higher population density scouring areas of lower population density. Any sign of life will be a sign of food and other resources, meaning anything that can be seen from a road or from the air by a drone will make someone a target. People in rural areas dying of hunger and thirst will act the same way. Luckily, many of these people who were unprepared for the crisis will also fight each other, or die of dehydration before they can harm others.

Hopefully it won't come to that and the societal and economic collapse won't be a complete collapse, or else the suffering will be maximal and beyond what most people can imagine. There is a reason apocalypse bunkers have become in relatively high demand among billionaires and others who can afford them, although fortunately for those of us who aren't rich, no amount of money can make up for a lack of knowledge, intelligence, understanding, and planning.

Isaiah 24. It reminds me that God is sending all of this judgment on the wicked. Psalm 92:6-7, & Psalm 9:17 reveals Trump is a delusion.

I think the 100 times more powerful nuclear weapons than Hiroshima will disappear our major cities and the gamma rays will also end the surrounding populations.

The movie "The Road" added cannibalism to the mix .

Right now a third of the population is starving in Sudan War and it's covered up by the EVIL MEDIA so they can focus against Israel and on Gaza which is not even close to the massive starvation, diseases and hell that is Sudan. It's Satan's Revelation 12 war against Israel.

When I was a kid, about the only time we ever ate at a restaurant was when we went to visit my great aunt at the nursing home two towns over. Even then, it wasn’t a regular thing and wasn’t fancy, just the diner on the edge of town or the cafe in town. McDonald’s was a rare treat and going to go get ice cream was a big deal. It would never have occurred to my parents to eat out three or four times a week. The fact that the restaurant industry has lasted as long as it has always surprises me, people paying way too much for food that is slowly killing them. If you go to an Applebee’s as a family of four, and don’t get drinks, it’s still going to be a good fifty bucks or more to get a reasonable meal. If you are smart with your money, you can eat pretty well on 150 to 160 a week. No one wants to “sacrifice” by maybe eating beans once or twice a week, or tuna or something. They don’t want to spend the time to cook, or learn how to. Everyone wastes things. We throw away like half the food these days. We’re a childish society, we used to make up problems when we couldn’t find real ones, and now we have real ones because it just wasn’t “cool” to be an adult any longer.

Just while I’m ranting, go look at commercial areas these days. Wall to wall chain restaurants, box retailers, and oil change places. If that doesn’t say volumes about the values of our end stage economy, I don’t know what does.

I'm in coastal South Carolina. The population in the entire state is growing with new restaurants, especially locally owned ones, and stores opening every week. Some restaurants close, as always, but are soon relaxed by another one. Harris Teeter is opening a new site on Wednesday and Publix will open directly across the street from them within the next month or so. I still expect that even our area will have a big downturn in the future, but with all the people that keep moving here, it might not be as bad. I'm somewhat prepared for whatever it is.

Restaurant chains are dumb. They try to take out the mom and pop eateries by over-expanding and offering the same old garbage cooked the same old way. They all have the same cookie-cutter mentality and seldom offer charm and atmosphere.

Boston Market is going under because the quality of food is bad. A person can make what they serve at home with much better ingredients and much cheaper. People with less discretionary income need to pick their battles. Same with Red Lobster as far as I’m concerned, I don’t like either restaurant and never have. People will be fussier, but Americans aren’t going to give up eating out completely anytime soon. I think first they need to learn how to cook 😎 and be careful what they’re being served as the quality of food in general is getting worse, causing more allergic reactions and health issues.

No lack of people eating out in the Texas college town where I live, even during the summer months when most of the students are gone. The fast food places are still constantly busy, and sit down restaurants are doing a brisk business. We don’t eat out at all as we so no value in what we get for our money.

There were a couple of renowned steak restaurants in my area. I read recently that they weren't paying their employees and had to close.

I've also notced that most fast food restaurants just aren't as busy as they were even six months ago.

The rampant spending by our federal government is rapidly leading to a disaster. I highly respect Ed Dowd, but there's no way this will take a year to happen.

We are lovers of dining out, but have cut it back 80% be cause prices are absurd and it is not that we can’t afford it, we can easily, but that is not the point. The point is it is not worth it. A family of 5 going to McDonalds for lunch costs you $100.00??? That is perverted, we will have no part of the destruction, but to stand back and watch the Democrats get slaughtered.
