There is so much wrong in your analysis I can't list it all here, but:
1. Nothing Musk or Trump has claimed has been released for other parties - who are less biased towards their own enrichment - to examine. We only have claims of fraud. Transparency of claims is not the same as transparency of work.
2. DOGE is looking at a single stream of initial payments. He doesn't see what reclaimed from social security (for example, final months of someone's life when that partial month has to be clawed back after death is recorded), or Medicare fraud later reclaimed, possibly with additional fines.
3. Long-term government records aren't stored in "an abandoned mine." They are store din Iron Mountain, a high tech 7-gated highly secured climate controlled independently energy proved business that stores records form 100s of businesses all over the country. I used to use them myself when I was an M.I.S. at a major university. It is a prudent backup. I don't believe Musk when he says these are the only accessible records of retirement. The government has systems in local offices too.
4. Musk was being investigated by dozens of cases within the agencies he's now shutting down. You can't create a bigger conflict-of-interest if you tried, but Trump is enabling that too because he is similarly compromised.
5. None of the savings DOGE is claiming are enacted by them, they are either "Savings Objectives" as per the U.S. Debt Clock, or cuts Trump has made at Musk's urging, perhaps.
6. The claims of fraud and illegal money-laundering have to be investigated by the proper legal authorities & there are significant doubts that Trump's compromised DOJ can do that, including the gutted FBI. We can't just take Musk's word for it.
