Everything else is in place, the weather, food and water are issues globally.
War is breaking out all over the planet and more pandemics are on the way.
There has been massive civil unrest in all major countries, including Russia and China.
One more thing must happen and that is the deliberate and purposeful default on the dollar and all it's bonds and start over with a new gold backed dollar. From a banking CEO I know they are waiting for the right event to happen to blame the collapse on, then pull the trigger (event) for collapse.
This could be the coming deliberate and purposeful default caused by congress refusing to raise the debt limit again (i.e. kick the can down the road again) coming due in the next 100 days. Both parties may want this and use the massive collapse to blame the other side to get a landslide win in the 2024 elections. One side (the left) blames conservatives and Christians and the whole conservative agenda and the Right blames liberal and commies here and abroad for the collapse. This will divide the country even more. Again something people in both parties want. It really seems this is the time to do it, now or never. Thus each party could blame the other for the coming WW III blowout.

What will this look like?
Congress will not pass the debit limit bill, thus we default on our ability to print more money to pay our treasury debts around the world. Already (again perfect timing) foreign countries are dumping dollars at a record pace (do they know what is coming?). Over 60% of dollars are held overseas. Once they realize these treasuries are about to become worthless, everyone will want to cash them in at once. Pure panic as the dollar just collapses.
(Now Biden could declare a national emergency and suspend congress declaring I'm suspending Democracy to save it). This will not change the outcome on the dollar, investors will see this as a stop gap move and dump anyway. There will be really severe civil unrest here again egging our enemies to go to war now or never. (this will not change the outcome but another veiled attempt to fix another election). We shall see.
Then the banks (except the 4 -5 too big to fail banks TBTF) will be allowed to default and go into bankruptcy. They will be eaten up by the TBTF banks. Their accounts will be balanced by a new much more valuable new gold backed dollar and you old money will be (bailed in) first at about 50% of your money will be gone to help the banks balance there books to start over. "You will be screwed"
