My only concern for all of this is that signs in the heavens, sun moon and stars may not be related to recurring astrological events, but unique events that are not ever repeated. Like the star that lead the sages to Bethlehem or Joshua fight where the sun stood still, or Noah's flood or the prophets ability to effect the weather even calling fire down from heaven. The signs are miracles themselves in the sky pointing to miraculous events about to happen on earth. So I would not be surprised that nothing happens in little over a week. Even Govts are making plans and giving warnings. My concern is that we give huge significance to this and the world does as well and then nothing happens. The world will say see, these Christians are following and empty shirt. Speaker Johnson has said "God told him directly" that God would use Johnson as speaker to lead America through it's sea splitting event like Moses. Some have in God's name called Trump God's man for America to bring America back. So what happens when none of that happens? Are those who issue such things then become false prophets and have blasphemed God. Trump the other day embraced a veiled reference to his persecution and Christ's from a follower. What will happen to the Christian right and their credibility to the Gospel if Trump fails. What will be our credibility to share the gospel? We need great discernment and wisdom in these times. This has already happened once when all those prophets said Trump would win in 2020. No wonder people are leaving the church in droves. Instead of confess their sin most these false prophets make excuses. God have mercy on all of us.
