To me, the big takeaway from this post is to ask yourself the question: Would I be able to survive a two month complete shutdown with the supplies I have on hand? Do I have medicine, pet food, paper products, bottled water for drinking and cooking? Do I have water for hygiene, flushing the toilet? Do I have a plan for another pandemic or civil unrest? What about money? Do I have enough to cover another shutdown? Should I bug in or bug out?
These questions are things that we all need to have a serious conversation about with our families, or at least ourselves. I've been reading a lot of articles from diverse sources that show a lot of concern for the future... and not all of them are conservative or survival focused. There is a lot of unease and doomscrolling going on, and more mainstream media sources are bringing up the need for preparedness.
Not trying to be a Debbie Downer, but the world is increasingly unstable, politically, mentally, financially... even physically. Look at the recent spate of earthquakes in places that are usually relatively stable and unseasonable severe weather outbreaks. Something is looming on the horizon... will you be ready when it comes?
The big question is how ready is ready? I have a CIA contact who flat out said when this goes down there will be an extended period of real darkness then the NWO will come, but billions may die first. I took the period of extended real darkness to mean a lot more than a few months. What is coming is going to require more than just prepping but a faith in Christ that is not strong enough just tot survive, but face death and persecution in a world gone truly mad.
True, but being physically ready for at least short term problems never hurts. Like Jesus said, when "the day" comes, it's going to be sudden and all you can do is make a run for the hills...you won't even have a chance to go grab a go bag, so preps are going to be useless in that scenario.

Since Russia has lost over 300,000 troops in this war and dozens of experienced top generals they are not in a good spot.
More diseases coming, again most of us are not surprised, what is coming will be far worse that we can imagine.
Ecuador is not a distraction, but the canary in the coal mine. This is a harbinger of what America will look like when the dollar fails and or when the Govt stops working/functioning and martial law/ national emergency/emergency powers act is activated, we will look just like Ecuador only there may be blue helmets killing Americans. And many more will die.
But when this life is over, we all will stand before an infinitely perfect loving moral God. If we do not have that same perfection, we can not stand before Him but condemned, for all of us including you both have been contaminated with the sin nature. You call them mistakes but the ultimate test is a life even without mistakes. Christ who know no sin became sin for us. But you know that and have rejected that. But the human condition in all of us, in the face of God Himself must honestly create a response of not human pride (oh look how moral I am) but humility thaat my human morality at it's best falls miles short of the morality God demands.
