We might be witnessing critical thinking failure or delusion coupled with confusion, but it seems that issue would still be a woman giving birth, whether confused or not.

For me the one who restrains him (the man of lawlessness) Is Michael the Arch Angel. In Daniel 12 he is called the protector of God's people (all who are in Christ). Who restrained the evil outside Lot's house and protected Lot and his family? Angels! Who rescued the Angel that was to come to answer Daniels prayers for 21 days because Gabriel went to war with the prince of Persia for 21 days and Michael rescued Him. This restraining of General evil is far beyond the church and it's role. If it was, we are doing a lousy job. Even when the church is still here (un-raptured) evil is exploding and just look at the state of the church today.
It's not the Holy Spirit for that is not the role the Holy Spirit. . The explosion of General evil is not in our pay-grade but a much higher level. Look it started in heaven when Lucifer fell and it's still going on. So who is executing this evil? Satan a fallen angel, whom does battle with them in Scripture Michael and Gabriel. In Rev it mentions a war in Heaven. Clearly this is angelic thing.
I have a millennial son and a gen Z son. My millennial is living with his girlfriend with no talk of marriage or children. My gen Z son doesn't seem interested in women. Neither would go to Church with me at Christmas, despite being raised in the Faith. When us old white conservative Christians pass away (or get raptured) , I think the country and the world will be doomed. I thank God everyday that I am getting near the end of my time on earth.
When Adam and Eve disobeyed God, the world outside the true Church was doomed for two judgements, cleansing Water (Noah's flood) and fire (the second coming of Christ).
I want to encourage you Alanna we all know of some christian families where the kids just walk away. Jesus said the Gospel would be divisive even down to the family level.
Don't put your hope in this world or any of it's system because Jesus said His kingdom is of the TRUTH. But everything including the Church is contaminated by the fall (sin). A battle we all must fight each day, until perfection comes (rapture) or death. In the mean time put you hope in a better place, the coming kingdom of God not made by the hands of men, and continue to run the race and fight the fight, do not get discouraged, just waiting to go home.
Blaze media had an article out today suggesting that your numbers (wherever they're coming from) are VERY high. And they have some interesting points as well, with "polyamory" being confused with noncommitment of relationships, and just hooking up with multiple partners, but not being married.
It points out that the term "polyamory" is a "hip" term used in a couple of very liberal cities, but that it's not really well adopted elsewhere. In their reporting, they really tried to find people who identified as being polyamorous and had a hard time. I think you're falling for cultural ideas without a basis in reality. It seems like your gut is more correct than the sources you're referring to.
I think it's all about semantics with Micheal and the Blaze (Glenn Beck). You must remember the status of Glenn Beck and the Mormon church is a little fuzzy. The Mormons consider the Constitution was written by the leading of the Holy Spirit, thus it is a sacred document and Mormons believe Christ will return and rule the world from MO using the constitution.
In a resent broadcast on the Blaze he was detailing the deep state, in the end he said he was hopeful and he thinks we (true Americans) are winning.
So what is Beck's definition of winning? Is it Christ's? (Col 2:15, 1 Peter 2:21-25) I don't think so.
So does the Blaze and Beck have their own agenda and spin? Yes they do, be careful we all see in the mirror darkly ( as an enigma). Real discernment is needed in all things now.

My own interpretation of the scriptures in this area are not clear as to the operational aspects of this. I happen to think that a burning by fire that is to come is somewhat symbolic and happening with truth exposing the dark deeds of those who conduct them, and in exposing them, it will be as a burning of stubble, per se. It also seems to fit with the great fall by those who consider themselves wise(r) and smarter than the rest of us. And that hubris is heavily manifest in everything they do. They've supported themselves with foundations without a basis in truth or integrity, and as alluded to in other scriptures, will be as a great building without a foundation, filled with people mocking and scorning those who live a more spiritual and dedicated life oriented around Jesus Christ.
I hadn't thought of the constitution as a template for how Christ will reign the world. That's an interesting point (not that I agree with it). I think there will be a more refined and unhindered set of "laws" where people will choose to follow them, rather than being commanded in all things. Who knows, it might be as simple as the 1st two great commandments spelled out by Jesus, and everything extending out from them.
As long as we have agency, even extended through our 1st amendment rights through our religious rights (if need be - it SHOULDN'T be limited to just that as a thread for us to hang on to), then America is going to pull through this. But if tyranny becomes the rule of law.... a greater cleansing than man can do will be needed. And we might be getting close to that!

Back to Michael and Glenn's respective articles, I honestly didn't read through all of Michael's post, because he's traditionally a 3/4's glass empty (and increasing) kind of writer. Lots of doom and gloom, and I wasn't sure of the basis for his claims. Glenn's writer at least made significant efforts to research this and came up.... surprised(?) that there were so few willing to admit to it, albeit, I think he asked a little more publicly online, where responders would have to consider that their disclosures might have a broader impact on their employment or social interactions with others. (ie, they don't want to be "outed") ie. "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas."

The flood was actually prophesied and it actually happened. The coming fire of Judgement is the same.

The word for world in Greek cosmos (literally this world and all it's structures and systems).
Why? Because this entire age has been contaminated by the fall, even creation itself.
Romans 8 talks about we and creation moaning ans waiting for our redemption/glorification (rapture) at the 2nd coming of Jesus. He will return with the glorified saints to bring in the kingdom and judge all the nations.
Jesus said he would allow the Anti-Christ to come and subdue "all the nations" and bring world peace, this includes the USA. He will have incredible signs and wonders to foll even the elect if possible. When this man of sin is killed he raises from the dead and the whole world runs after him, except the true saints and he persecutes the saints Dan 7 Rev 13. We win but not as the world counts winning.
So to think that there is anything redeemable in America compared to the absolutely perfect kingdom of God to come, will not happen. Jesus will not build his kingdom on sand.
We ourselves deserve nothing but death judgement and hell. Our only righteousness that God can accept, is not ours even at our best. Doing your best earns you nothing, god accepts it not for your sake but His, he does this by giving a cloak of His perfect righteousness to cover our falleness, so we can stand before God by grace and grace alone. Paul said I can boast in noting before God but the cross of Christ,
So if you died to day and Jesus asked you why should I let you into my Heaven, how would you justify yourself before Him?
