"#7 The U.S. has the largest prison population in the world by a very wide margin. We have approximately 5 percent of the world’s population, but we have approximately 25 percent of the world’s incarcerated population."
The majority of America's prison inmate population are incarcerated for non-violent petty drug offences. The problem is privately run "for profit" prisons who have a vested financial interest in maximum occupancy. Incarcerating humans shouldn't be a profitable venture.
Inmates who agree to work for slave wages are forging their own chains & shackles. As long as the system continues to enjoy windfall profits from the slave labor of their captive commodity, the inmate will remain a slave in the plantation.
The solution for the non-violent petty drug offender is to refuse to participate in the "inmate worker programs." An empty prison cell cot is an unprofitable prison cell cot but can be filled with a working occupant. However, an occupied prison cell cot by an inmate who refuses to be exploited by the prison system is a financial liability to the "for profit" prison industry and will earn that inmate an early release!
Prison reform is badly needed and many of those responsible for running and profiting from these slave mills rightly belong confined in them.
So right you are ! but their are some (buts) to that ! Your suggested application to the “for profit” Racket ! it’s more chess than mere checkers ! And Thanks for the info’ so Many need !
Wait a sec...what about all that hi-spun digital technology that is supposed to thwart crime? Special tags, security cameras everywhere, digital security walls, anti-theft devices for vehicles, etc. Technology and the lack of security provisions by many companies allow crime to flourish. They actually enable the crimes and perhaps that is by design. Technology....the Internet...a grand haven for crime.
Two instances in recent days shocked me. Someone in the family stole cash and a gift card (total about $100) at a gathering on Christmas. We know who the culprit was. Then later in the day, my wife's grandson left his wallet with $2,000 in cash in his vehicle and forgot to lock it. Needless to say, someone on his block got a lucky payday with little effort.
In both cases, there was negligence on the part of the affected parties and this leads me to believe that much of the crime being committed is because of an almost open invitation to commit it. Then again, those looking to commit open crimes have no morals or any concerns for another human being. That too is by design thanks to your lovable and tyrannical government.
So very very sad.....all need Jesus in their hearts. At least the one in "charge" let out a bunch of insane murderers so that lowered the prison population. Makes room for more J6'ers and pot smokers right.
War & genocide will navigate the darkness of derelict & corrupted souls to more depravity as the burden of horrors we see and hear of daily can only Feed Despair . . . Find it in the health of Your Souls and furnace of Your hearts to love those afflicted as best as you may love yourselves and the dawn of hope in the darkened sky will be a Rose to the garden of your Dwelling. .
Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.
26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.
28 Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. 29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31 they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy. 32 Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.
Blame:
Lack of morals.
Lack of ethics.
Lack of religion.
Lack of family.
Lack of serious consequences (of the law).
Lack of prosecution of the law (George Soros).
Lack of police (allowed, willing, able to enforce the law).
Bleeding Heart Liberals.

a clear sign of God's judgement on this nation,
Romans 1
