Meanwhile, Disney-ABC thinks Jimmy Kimmel is great, and people will actually pay $30/month, for the ESPN app.
But what do I know, I thought Amazon would go under never making a profit, pet rocks were silly, and cars made to look like card board boxes on wheels would never sell.
Michael, thank you for your faithfulness in reporting and sounding the alarm. I truly hope people are listening.
In 2017, I felt a clear calling from the Lord to step away from my career in bank management and return to school to study Functional Nutrition. It wasn’t something I had planned, but I chose to follow in obedience. After earning my board certification, I launched a private practice, and through working closely with clients, I learned something deeply important: lasting change doesn’t happen in isolation. We were created to heal, grow, and thrive in community.
That realization led me to establish a nonprofit last year, centered on building communities rooted in God’s design, sustainability, stewardship, and reciprocity. This model isn’t limited to one setting; it can take shape within churches, neighborhoods, and broader physical communities. I believe with all my heart that this is part of God’s preparation for His people in the days ahead.
And yet, I find myself struggling.
Many people affirm the vision. They say it’s a great idea. But when it comes to stepping in, helping build, or preparing with urgency, there’s hesitation, a lack of vision, and a sense that there’s still time.
I’ve given up much to follow this calling, my career and our home, trusting that God was leading me to help equip the Body of Christ to steward every area of life well, to truly become a functional Body. But lately, I feel that vision dimming. It’s hard not to feel discouraged when the church community we hope to serve seems just as uncertain and unprepared.
Still, I believe this is an appointed time, a time for the Church to rise, to serve, to prepare, and to walk in faith and action, not just words.
I’m grateful for voices like yours willing to speak up. My prayer is that we don’t just hear, but respond, seeking the Lord and stepping into the kind of community and stewardship Jesus is calling us to in this time.
Teresa, you are exactly right. The church today isn't much different from the world. Most have bought into the prosperity lie the world is pushing. Hardly anyone is really excited about knowing, serving and walking with Jesus!! Those of us who are stand out like a sore thumb. Everyone is upset because they will be tightening their belts and there will be some pain!
Thank you for your reply Charles. Yes, there will be suffering, and no one likes change, but a simple life of stewardship within community is health to the body and soul!
Faith in God is always rewarded Teresa & I know personally what it is to step out in faith away from the herd. There is always that time between sowing the seed & reaping the harvest.
And some seed we plant we will never see the harvest but that doesn't matter as long as we are diligent workers wherever God has called us to be Teresa.
God's ways are not our ways but are higher then our ways.
So keep up the good work God has laid upon your heart to do Teresa & may the crop you are sowing in faith yeap 100 fold.
Thank you Garry, for your encouragement. I never imagined life as it is now, but all the more reason to live a kingdom focused life. May the Lord bless and prosper your work as well. 🙏🏻💗🙏🏻
Iran did give up their enriched uranium and their right to create nukes in the treaty signed with Obama...Trump unilaterally opted out of that treaty, so it's pretty stupid to complain about it now! And of course, with Israel having large numbers of nukes with uranium stolen from the US, probably every country should have a few nukes to protect themselves from Israel's predation...
It's also strange to talk about mines in the Strait, when there's no evidence that such mines exist....If they do exist, the US would not have any easy way to locate them,....only Iran would know their locations....
Yes indeed! In fact had Iran definitely had a nuke it is unlikely that Trump would have given in to the Israeli in his ear and attacked.
Rumour has it that Israel ha been flattened or at least Tel Aviv has, by Iranian heavy missiles. But they have no freedom of speech and there are no news videos leaking, stiff jail penalties apparently apply to anyone leaking.
Right at the start of Trump's attacks on Iran I wondered why Iran did not use a few hypersonic missiles to take out the USA's aircraft carriers. They were well within range initially, but even moves to the Mediterranean they were withing range. While the US were bombing an killing thousands the sinking of a carrier could take 700 or so American lives in each strike. They did not do this, why? Obviously it would invoke one of the Trump rages and make him do something silly! Well he already did that multiple times. Mostly by attacking in the first place.
He tore up the existing nuclear deal with Iran in his first term in office, one wonders if this was specifically to engineer the conditions to justify a later attack. Unfortunately he seems driven by the need not just to achieve but to dominate and revel in it, be worshipped as a hero.
He has learnt no diplomacy, he destroyed relations with Canada the EU, Australia and here in the UK, let us say we are very aware that being a so called friend of America is dangerous. (I would much rather the King had not visited.) Mark Carney hit the nail squarely on the head with his speech at Davos, Since then many new trade deals have been done around the world excluding the US. His actions have also started de-dollarisation, the dollar is sliding in value. Is there any gold in Fort Knox at all? Did German receive theirs back? He has not revalued the gold held, which would have given some collateral for the stupidly vast national debt, the fact that he has not done so is significant.
He kicked off with the first round of tariffs and caused the first Trump crash n the markets in April 2025. But now he is causing famine and starvation or will be in a few moths when farm produced foods do not appear, this goes around the world, as he caused the Straights of Hormuz to be closed most of the world's fertiliser stopped! (It was a an obvious first move by the Iranians that a child could forecast! ) But now he is winning by blockading in the gulf further south. Well finally the Iranians have threatened to use those missiles.
Putin wants war? No! Its trump that wants war, to keep the Israelis onside, what are they holding over him? He has claimed victory twice already and yet continued. He has had clear chances to pull back and claim full victory. But each time he cannot exit as a shining golden hero like his sickening statues, Thus you will pay for his ego and megalomania. You have a clause in the constitution,, pleas use it and save us all.
Yes...bought gas today in SD...over $4. As for fertilizer? Our neighbor is a trucker and has been delivering fertilizer all over the country. There's several large fertilizer manufacturers that he picks up from and delivers. So I don't understand the so-called shortage of fertilizer. He states it's misleading information because the fertilizer manufacturers can not get enough truckers to deliver.
"If the Democrats take control of both houses of Congress, they would likely force Trump to end the blockade and leave Iran alone"
Assuming Trump isn't removed from office prior to the midterms, Trump will be impeached in the House and removed in the Senate after the Republican bloodbath in the midterm elections as remaining Republican representatives seek to distance themselves from the worst President in American history.
Removing Trump from office ASAP is imperative if America is to survive another year.
It's not this year's harvest season we need to worry about. U.S. farmers mostly had their fertilizer locked in before the war started. It's next year we need to worry about as even in a best case scenario it will likely take over a year for the fertilizer situation to stabilize.

Somehow, God makes crooked lines straight.

What does usa need oil for?
…other then war crimes for jews.
USA should be DEPRIVED, of ALL worldwide oil.
China is the one doing any manufacturing.

Famine is a kind of war. It will happen slowly in the West, but will collapse us economicall and culturally. Less food, fewer children, etc.

That is if the mid-terms are allowed to happen! If Trump cancels them or declares martial law you are on the way to dictatorship.
His view is that any vote against him in an election must be an error or rigged as he cannot conceive the thought that he is not universally adored.
A very real possibility. Hopefully high ranking military will disobey his unconstitutional orders and forcibly, physically remove and arrest him.

Price of gas jumped 65 cents in one day
Thanks Rich White House !!!!
