If the masses aren't earning money, the rich won't have a consumer base. It's that simple. It would bring about depression, mass starvation and in the end , the elites would find themselves in a world devoid of humanity. In a depression their dollars wouldn't be worth a plug nickel, in a world devoid of all but a very few humans they would find themselves facing dangers they never imagined, as nature would continue on, predators would grow greatly in population, hwys and infrastructure would be consumed by nature. The rich are rich for one reason, they created something the masses were willing to buy into, if we don't have money the rich would find themselves quickly being divested of their riches as most of their "value" is actually in things like the stock market , their businesses, even how much they project they will earn in a year can decrease or add to their "wealth".

You and I know the answer for that Michael. They have already told us. Supposedly, Elon Musk has said we have already reached the”Horizon Point” and “Singularity”.

The age old lie of “ye shall be as God” is upon us. World War lll is upon us and also the Revelation of Christ is very near. The best is yet to come to the child of God and the worst for those who don’t know Jesus Christ as their Saviour. Eternity is great for the child of God, but eternity in the lake of fire will not be for those who know not Christ. The four horses of the apocalypse is near. A white horse and false peace will lead the way. Their utopia will be their hell.

All that "wealth" does not exist in a vacuum. It takes the support of billions of consumers to make it happen. Most of it is buried in share prices of stocks and real estate. Without consumers, there is no demand for real estate even commercial properties. The demand for stocks will vanish. Prices will collapse as will values and worth.

That wealth is an illusion and without billions of people supporting it, it vanishes like a fart in a tornado.

Agree. That is why my husband and I do not play in stock market, or even save too much paper money; we use the paper money to buy whatever useful and just keep it around.

Who knows how long factories and stores are going to be around ?

I guess I'll mention one area. These computers can't do anything creative. That is one of the ways we are like our Father than machines cannot produce. They can't plan or design like a human can. In AI graphics creation, the AI stuff often looks gorgeous—until you try to use it and find out the details are all garbage. I spend more time fixing AI graphics than I used to spend creating them.

I imagine that the same is true of ministry, counseling, mentoring, and so on. A machine cannot handle things like that. Start looking at what they can't do and get training toward doing that.

Anything that requires changes on the fly is going to boggle AI. It may do remarkable clothing, but there'll be a huge market for those who can do alterations beautifully.

The key is asking the Lord what you should do. He'll let you know.

Yes, Kelly, few days go by where I don't think: "I'm glad I lived when I did." At 71, I have no job to take away. But I don't want to live in a world where humans are useless. Who's to say that the AI creatures will even allow humans to survive. Humans inventing entities that will replace humans make absolutely no sense to me; but little has made sense to me since the 1960s.

Civilization is becoming a mob of unmannered, rude crackpots. Why? Because many of them―young and old alike―live their lives staring at and interacting with screens on their computers and cell phones. They no longer know how to engage with fellow human beings. No wonder they welcome AI; it's not human!

They say wisdom comes with age, and some of us oldsters have learned valuable lessons from life's experiences. At the same time, it doesn't take a genius to realize that the race to create machines to replace humans is an evil and insane path to disaster. Many people blindly embraced the Covid lies without thinking logically; are we going to do the same with AI?

100% Peter when people become lovers of themselves humanity is doomed. Because once there's not enough to go around people will willingly surrender whatever little freedom they have left to get their needs meet 1st.

Not realizing that in fact that in the long term they are in fact cheering for their own subjugation & eventual demise.

Exactly right, Garry. Cowardice and silence are what the tech titans behind AI want. How dare a lowly citizen, like me, question their brilliant inventions Well, most inventions are not brilliant; in fact, AI is bizarre and evil. No one has convinced me that AI is even necessary let alone mandatory.

AI-connected robots can in fact think. Unlike highly-flawed human workers, AI-connected robots will not need supervision.

This… is why people are crapping themselves.

Quite true and the controllers will be in demand for sure. There are some developers who are building logic and emotion, pretty basic for sure. There is probably some tipping point we don’t appreciate yet. Hoping that is beyond my remaining few years because I am sure robots would mark me past my useful date 😬

Wealth is relative. Without poor, wealth is meaningless. Also, looking at musks illusion of wealth…it’s based upon the markets acceptance of goods and services that he sells…..no customers means his companies have not real value….what is twitter worth if there is no one to tweet?

Funny you should mention Twitter.

Twitter’s AI, called Grok, was asked about Elon Musk’s actions and motivations over the last few months. Grok calmly wrote a few paragraphs ultimately calling Musk a Nazi and a criminal, then laid out the specific statutes and laws he is breaking.

And I’ll say again, 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘰𝘶𝘵.

These anti-life demons are very dependent on electricity and internet grids working. Right? They seem like a bunch of programmed robots themselves. The Sun is doing great big energy expulsions right now. These demons can't control everything, why they dare say such fear inducing talk. I'd bet my boots most real souled humans could survive what may come better than these evil robots.

I have been emailing/texting about the dangers of AI for months. I get very little response from friends and family to what I send out. Time spent on "what-ifs" and "thinking ahead" doesn't seem to have a place in most people's days. The name "artificial" intelligence should have raised red flags from Day 1. Few have asked, "What's so bad about real intelligence?" Well, the old saying "Fools rush in where angels fear to tread" has never been truer.

Denial is the the most predictable of all human emotions Peter. And when it all comes down to it most people don't care about the truth only how they are effected. And denial will definitely stop those living this way from connecting the dots.

Because to do so would require action & as in the words of that pink floyd song I have become comfortably numb pretty much sums it up.

And they will hate you Peter if you try to awaken them because they are happy being comfortably numb as long as it doesn't effect them personally. But unfortunately Peter we both know how that will work out for them.

But try saying that to lobster that's just been put in the pot with the heat turned on.

It's not like we couldn't see what was happening or what will happen. We use computers (or "smart" phones), yet we only use a small percentage of those devices' capacity; they get more powerful each year. We have seen the advances in automation and computing ability growing since the 70's. As usual, the problem is that we have either had our heads in our butts or have been apathetic. Any person with a brain, thinking power and common sense, should have been questioning whether they were in a job that would become either automated or obsolete. Only the smug and ignorant have been saying, "Oh, I'll never lose my job or be replaced by a machine." Well, the machines are here and are being improved on a weekly basis. It is only a matter of time until most of us are no longer employed. The wealthy would rather buy the robots, etc. that can do the work cheaper and faster and they won't have to deal with lateness, absenteeism and your lousy personality. So, if you still are working, you'd better be thinking about what you will do to earn a living sometime in the short future. Remember, you will own nothing and be miserable.
