Much that comes from the ChiCom is cheap junk. They stole our engineering, etc. then figured out how to manufacture on the cheap. We do virtually no inspections in China. As a result, we get cheap crap, stuff that is dangerous and/or unhealthy. Even medical or pharmaceutical items are not reliably safe. It won't be long before a lot of stuff will start coming in from other companies. It is the wealthy that will suffer from lost or lower profits. I'm not shedding tears for the ChiComs, Bezos or Waltons. They don't care about you, just their bottom lines.

Where is the American built phone or computer?

I'm not sure there are any, thanks to our government and greedy factory owners. But, phones and computers are made in other countries. We don't have to patronize and enrich our enemy, the Chi Com.

Toughen up, Americans.

What happened? In the 1990s, beginning under Clinton and well continued under every subsequent administration, America was stripped of manufacturing. You can blame Transnational Oligarchs, Globalists, or whomever you like. We know the cohort. They want a one-world government. Nearly 100% of American financiers and Wall St. contingent participated and drove this movement. They cared not for the U.S. nor had any loyalty to this country. Make sure you understand this fact.

China was artificially inflated into a gigantic manufacturing juggernaut. I talked to people whose manufacturing was relocated to Chinese companies. They could not have items manufactured in China without divulging technological processes and trademarked technology. The Chinese government required the sharing of trademarks and intellectual property prior to doing business there.

China became their only option because they were soon competing against companies worldwide who were manufacturing in China with incredibly cheap labor...therefore, their profit margin generated capital which was often used to expand business in many instances acquiring start-ups or opposition companies thereby consolidating a strong-arm over their industry.

The effects on America were evident to anyone with eyes to see. The middle class blue collar worker was destroyed (along with Clinton's NAFTA); the U.S. comfortable middle class was trashed. The disparity between rich and poor became embarrassing.

America became appointed by Global Oligarchs as a "consumer-only" society wherein well-educated people filled positions of essentially services and suppliers. The only problem with this scenario is that population replacement became a popular tactic undermining this "dream consumer" society. The illegal immigrants took jobs at salaries Americans, who were self-supporting, owning homes, and educating kids, couldn't afford to accept. This exacerbated the increasing polarization of wealth in the U.S.

So, China has lived on easy street since the 1990s. Their middle class has burgeoned. They embarked on their campaign of building high-tech infrastructure and continued either stealing U.S. technology or mafia-like strong-arming companies seeking entrance into Chinese manufacturing. This flush of cash resulted in the many cheaply constructed buildings throughout China which have never been inhabited and are now falling apart. You can see videos of these structures everywhere online. The Chinese "economy" is a chimera. I hope the Globalists end up with turbo-cancer or heart problems from, hopefully, their Covid vaxx.

This is causing Chinese factories to literally abandon goods in transit, forfeiting entire container loads of goods destined for the U.S.

The cargo shipping companies will be forced to redirect those loads to Mexico or South America, flooding those countries with low-cost Chinese goods while America's shelves run empty and shocking levels of supply chain scarcity kick in.

You are about to find yourself living in a third world country. Right here in America.

A simple thing like your toilet valve is made in China. If this fails and they always do how will you fix it?

The circuit board on your washer burns up it going to be junked unless you can find a tec that can rebuild it.

A ball joint in your car wears out most dealers will not have one in stock due to the high cost of the inventory and you will need to find a talented machinist to rebuild it costing more than an OEM parts. I have Toyotas and the dealer has no parts inventory. It is a 30 day hurry up and wait for the special order to arrive.

I see a Cuban style culture if this continues.

Trump just announced new penalties for cargo ships docking with U.S. ports, stating that if the ship itself was originally made in China, there will be another 1.5 million dollar fee on top of the insane tariffs already announced.

Because of the insane, massive tariffs placed on China by Trump, their economy is collapsing. Many building fires are INSURANCE FRAUD, since nobody can make a living anymore.

04/23/2025 - Mises Wire - By Ryan McMaken

"For a few days during the early weeks of the current Trump administration, it appeared that the Trump team might actually try to rein in the Federal Reserve. Trump and Elon Musk hinted that they would push for an audit of the Federal Reserve, and they even suggested that they would bring in Ron Paul to serve as an advisor on the matter. More recently, though, it seems that a meaningful critique of the Fed is going the way of that imaginary trillion dollars that the Department of Government Efficiency has already given up on cutting from the federal budget. In other words, the hinted-at Fed audit has disappeared from the Trump “to do” list.

Even worse, it now is becoming clear that if the Trump team is going to attack the Fed, it’s because Trump wants more inflation from the Fed, not less. Since he was sworn in, Trump has attacked the current Fed chairman Jerome Powell at least three times for not forcing down interest rates enough. He’s done this in spite of the fact that the Fed cut rates by 100 basis points over the past year. Specifically, last fall, the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) reduced the target rate three times, lowering it from 5.5 percent to 4.5 percent. This was a major reduction, especially since it occurred during a period when it was hardly clear that CPI inflation was falling sustainably."

Beyond the typical US Consumer facing financial hardship is the reality the Federal Reserve became insolvent in September of 2022.

It has not been reported by MSM that the Federal Reserve experienced significant financial challenges beginning in September 2022, leading to a situation where it reported negative net income and accumulated deferred assets. The Federal Reserve's deferred asset represents the accumulated negative net income that the Fed has not yet remitted to the Treasury. The situation is further complicated by the Fed's unrealized losses on its bond holdings. By the end of 2022, the fair value of the System Open Market Account (SOMA) portfolio was $7,349 billion, significantly lower than the book value of $8,429 billion, resulting in unrealized losses of $1.080 Trillion.

This is a link to a ChatGPT conversation I instigated about the Fed and is a deep-dive into the real economic crisis facing We the People of the United States: https://chatgpt.com/canvas/shared/67d02d946328819192024a3be0d9d40e

OMG!! The CEOs whose companies most benefit from China eating our heartland are complaining! Man. I never saw that coming. Whooeee. That is a game changer for me. Flood away China. The CEO of Walmart said their shelves will be empty. What will we do without cheap junk in our lives?

Well, they will definitely be empty if everyone runs out & buys. I moved to Hawaii the week after Johnny Carson joked that “there’s is a toilet paper shortage in Hawaii.” Guess what? Those shelves were bare the next day. There hadn’t been a shortage when he said that, but everyone had to use Kleenex until the next boat arrived. I’m sure there are Honolulu residents still wiping their butts with TP Grandma bought. Of COURSE the CEOs of giant retailers want you to go out & strip their shelves bare. Cha-ching!
