I'm all for cleaning up the People's House!

Came across something else today that I had not seen before. As is well known, the Israeli government is heavily subsidized by American taxpayers of whom Christians remain a high majority at 69%. Such enormous subsides include, but are not limited to, $3.8 billion annually, despite polls in the U.S. finding such largess to be unpopular. I'm not Catholic, but I am a Christian. I find this article very disturbing. Apparently, this has been ongoing for at least a few years. In December 2021, Catholic, Orthodox and Protestant leaders in the Holy Land sounded an alarm with a formal letter addressing “countless incidents of physical and verbal assaults against priests and other clergy, attacks on Christian churches, with holy sites regularly vandalized and desecrated, and ongoing intimidation of local Christians.”

So, an Israeli reporter dressed as a Catholic priest for a time -

Israeli investigative reporter spat on, harassed in Jerusalem while dressed as a Catholic priest

Amid cascading Jewish violence against Christians in Israel, a television journalist exposes the gravity of these crimes and law enforcement’s apparent complicity.

Well, at least they tabled this bill - "Israeli lawmakers table bill to imprison Christians for sharing their faith in Jesus Christ" https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/israeli-ministers-table-bill-to-imprison-those-who-share-their-faith-in-jesus-christ/

For those with a penchant for intellectual thought on the government's deficit spending, this latest from Alasdair Macleod is excellent:
