I went furniture shopping. There are many furniture companies manufacturing right here in USA. Also from Canada. Whatever is going on with tariffs in Canada, I was assured from a 3rd generation family owned business over 80 years, not a problem, but there will be a price increase May 1. Again he assured me there have always been yearly increases. He doesn't sell much Chinese product because of the lag time for delivery and inconsistent quality. So IT IS NOT ALL DOOM AND GLOOM. Stock markets are doing some rebounding with minor falls now. Please remember do not be part of the head exploding media mania.

They will take big ships are out of service, use the time for maintenance, furlough crews, run smaller ships on longer routes, reduce capacity overall, and profit margins will rise, despite reduced revenue.
A life without risk is not worth living. Our parents lived with shortages, especially in war times and the Great Depression. "Instant gratification" is not always a good thing. Going without, once in a while, makes one appreciate how blessed this country is.
