Society can only change when the individuals living it are changed and reborn into new life and new purpose. Those who have seized power intend to use it for their unjust purposes and not to honor God and have plainly proclaimed and exemplified it. Unless there is a change of heart, there will be no change in the world around us -- it is passing away / decaying (evolution is satan's lie -- the further we get away from our original ancestors in the garden, the greater the decimation of our gene pool) -- "entropy" or the 2nd law of thermodynamics. Unless there is a change of heart, there will be no change in the world around us -- it is passing away / decaying (evolution is satan's lie -- the further we get away from our original ancestors in the garden, the greater the decimation of our gene pool) -- "entropy" or the 2nd law of thermodynamics. Until Christ's return when He asserts the victory already won and takes the title deed to the earth and satan is cast down, we will continue to see the proliferation of the deeds of the evil one, who has for centuries conspired and enlisted minions in human form to do his bidding and will. The unrestrained evil today is the result of the vast darkness from the saints of God failing to stand firm and to wield the power of God for the salvation of the unredeemed, and to bear fruit and to love truth over the comforts of the world system with which even the (institutional) "church" has compromised with via syncretism and a hope not based on the completed work of Christ once for all. What I foresee is more degradation, men's hearts failing them from fear, distress of nations, a continued departure from the foundational truths of the word of God and the love affair with the things of the world system that has ensnared and deceived so many. Our prayer should be for the work of God to proceed unfettered and unencumbered, for light and life to spread though the lived out and exhibited power of God -- Christ in us (the hope for glory), and the love of we who are His demonstrated recipients for others, not in carnal political theater, wranglings and false binary-based delusions/distractions used by the evil one to divide and disable us, but instead to find common ground in Jesus and from there, submitted to Him, trusting and believing and taking Him at His word, being ready to give an account for the hope that is in us, transmitting Him to those around us in sincerity and in love.
What's occurring in the urban areas is a microcosm of what will become more and more prevalent in a Christ-rejecting, satan-loving world that is based on layers of lies, falsehoods, deceptions, artificial constructs and the craven power of those who will stake everything to rule over us -- while we waver at daring to live in defiance and rejection of their evil ways.

Accordingly, I posit Romans 13 and 1 Peter 2: 13 were added by the scribes of the Sunday worshiping church/state sometime during the Dark Ages of the Holy Roman Empire.
Obviously Romans 13 and 1 Peter 2: 13 glaringly conflict with The First and Second Commandments, Daniel 3: 12, Daniel 6: 5, Revelation 13: 15-17 and Revelation 15: 2.
In other words, if the government of the day Circa 2025, orders my wife and I, (who are professing believers in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior) to receive a computer chip implant in our right hands, or an invisible ink QR Code tattoo on our foreheads, in order to buy and sell, and receive our SS retirement benefits; and the government attempts to justify it's actions by declaring the Bible commands my wife and I, at Romans 13 and 1 Peter 2: 13, to "take the implant", (not-unlike take the covid-19 shots), then my wife and I will say no, just like we said no the the covid-19 vaccine shots and boosters.
