Can you believe that it is the month of May already?

I love the fact that when I go outside everything is blooming. Last year we planted some blueberry bushes, and I wasn’t sure that they were going to make it through the winter. But sure enough, most of them are blooming along with everything else.

These days, blueberries have become so expensive that I just totally avoid them at the grocery store. So we are trying to grow our own. In the days ahead, we are all going to have to become a lot more self-sufficient.
