I talked to a guy a few days ago who said e had just downsized from 2700 acres to 2000 and he is barely profitable. I find that amazing considering how much land costs in the central part of our state.
But the big equipment manufacturers just keep pumping out million dollar tractors and combines. Wonder how many acres you have to have to afford those?
