There were 5 horses in all that bolted from a cavalry exercise, after presumably throwing their riders, 3 of whom were listed as injured. Apparently city folk in London no longer know how to stop panicked horses! They were injured and scared, not "dangerous"! Horses are fairly easy to stop, it's bulls you want to watch out for. The other 3 were stopped before they got far and got injured. But obviously a saddled and bridled horse is not " wild"; for those who have never seen an horse not saddle broke, put 1 on such an horse and you will get a real "wild west" show.

Forty years ago, the grandson of friends was in Boston Children’s Hospital having undergone his final chemo treatment for cancer and pronounced in remission. It was Thanksgiving weekend. His parents and grandparents were there. His heart stopped. The drs administered electroshock. His heart responded. He opened his eyes, looked at his dad and very clearly asked, “Please make them stop this. I want to go back. I am having fun.” With that, his heart stopped again. The family let him go. I attended his funeral. The priest related this in his homily.
